A fun place to travel to. It isn't like Tokyo where a lot of major places close at 10. Many major shopping areas and attractions close around 5-7PM and the only thing open after that are the main grocery stores and restaurants.

Often overlooked in favour of its neighbour, Osaka, Kobe is an absolute gem of a city. It has a multitude of attractions, from the port and harbourside parks to the wonderful Nunobiki herb garden and hillside hikes on the other side of the city, to the old foreign merchants houses in Kitano Ijinkan-gai and the Motomachi and Sannomiya entertainment and shopping areas, there's a huge amount to see and do in Kobe. We gorged ourselves on amazing food, saw historic houses, enjoyed walking through nature, enjoyed food markets and took a harbourside tour. Bakery RIKI near our accommodation in Motomachi sold the most amazing pastries and Nankin-machi (Chinatown) had a wonderful, crowded, hectic atmosphere with hundreds of stalls selling cheap, absolutely delicious food. We will definitely visit Kobe again.

The city has a good vibe at night with many people out having dinner and strolling.
Many awesome dining experiences mafe for a very pleasant stay.
Make sure you have cash as quite a few didn't accept card
The outdoor private onsens were amazing. Booking them was easy and there was always availability. It's really not necessary to get the in-room onsen.
The yukata and japanese pj's which were provided were also great quality. I now regret not buying some :)
There are some great hiking trails and a hilltop shrine near the hotel, which are very quiet and secluded.
The lady was very nice and kind ! She waited for us to arrive on our first night, and I am very grateful for that.
The room was large and super clean, as well as the bathroom.
The breakfast is homemade and very delicious !! It was our first japanese breakfast ever, and it will remain a fond memory of our stay in Kobe.
Thank you for everything!
Very nice hotel. The rooms are quite large for Japan and have a bench by the window, which I thought was great. The bathroom is well equipped. The mattresses are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is quite varied with Asian dishes, fruits, breads, cereals and much more. From the hotel, you can easily explore Kobe on foot.
Value for money. Compare to the other ones in the area. Room is big compared to other Japanese hotels. Sparkling clean.
I like it does not need access card for entry. Just electronic keypad password.
Close by to the Gold onsen public bath with 3 mins walk.
for the price of the hotel i was expecting less and actually it was new, clean and friendly. the room although small bathroom and limited storage space was what i have experienced before in Japan.
