Hotel in Amanohashidate Onsen, Miyazu
Located in Miyazu, within a 9-minute walk of Amanohashidate Beach and 700 yards of Chionji Temple, Auberge Amanohashidate provides accommodations with a restaurant and free WiFi as well as free... Fabulous location right next to the boat pier and sandbar. Staff were very helpful even without speaking good English, they made an effort to understand me. Room equipped with TV and fridges, wi-fi was strong enough for me to watch the England v Germany game with minimal interruptions. Some facilities of the bigger hotel next door are available to guests.

Hotel & Resorts Kyoto-Miyazu features a spacious public bath and a sauna for guests to enjoy their stay. The Western-style rooms include a flat-screen TV. We chose this hotel because of the choice of in-house restaurants and we were not disappointed. Both the traditional Japanese Irori Yaki as well as the French dinner were excellent.

Featuring 3-star accommodations, Amano Hashidate Hotel is located in Miyazu, a 8-minute walk from Amanohashidate Beach and 600 yards from Chionji Temple. The staff was extremly kind and helpful, the room was spacious, big fridge, we had a wonderful view over the bay. The onsen was great too. The location of the hotel is perfect. We enjoyed the bicycle road around the bay a lot, same as the walks on the beach and through the pine forrest. Great hotel!

Seikiro has served guests for 320 years and is a registered cultural landmark. Very large and well run establishment. Staff were always accommodating and friendly. Rooms have a lot of privacy with their own toilet and balcony. There is a very nice view over the coast. The futon was high quality and comfortable, with a heated object within to keep you warm on cold nights. Heating in general was impeccable on a rather cold night. Rooms are spacious with a lot of options regarding lighting. On the balcony you can sit, drink tea and have a chat. There is also an outdoor mirror and sink. Great for a solo traveller but also a great location for groups!
Amanohashidate Onsen, Miyazu
Hotel Kitanoya offers rooms with ocean views just a 6-minute walk from Amanohashidate Train Station. It features hot-spring baths and a Japanese restaurant. Best authentic Japanese hotel I have ever stayed. The private open-air onsen is a must-try. The room we stayed has a ocean view as well. Another plus here is the toilet. It's relatively bigger than other hotels we stayed.
Amanohashidate Onsen, Miyazu
Boasting hot-spring baths with restorative waters from 4921 feet below, Taikyorou is only a 5-minute walk from the famous Amanohashidate Land Bridge. Very kind staff. Location is close to a beautiful temple and the entrance of the attraction (rotational bridge). it was very lucky that we got a room with two windows which are facing the river and the bridge.

Lots of tourists on holidays but pretty peaceful on normal days. The beach was great but I think they limit the days you can swim. Nice stroll along the sandbar. Amanohashidate is the main thing, there's nothing much to do in Ine aside from taking the boat tour. It's probably best to take the tour that starts from Amanohashidate and goes straight to Ine if you want to save time.
Miyazu is called "Kyoto by the Sea" and is a great place to visit for it's proximity to several appealing places. Amanohashidate or the "bridge to heaven" is a narrow 3.6 kilometer sandbar which, seen from a nearby mountain with cable car access, is one of the "three great views of Japan." It is also just a short drive or bus ride to Ine, a scenic and charming fishing village. There are temples and shines and just great seaside walks and scenery. We had a great dinner at our ryokan Shinpuro, a nearby restaurant Ogura and the Amanohashidate Winery. The Ine Cafe is a great place to sip coffee and take in the great scenery. Miyazu is accessible by train, bus or car. We used the bus to travel or just walked. We spent our 20th wedding anniversary in Miyazu and were't disappointed.
We only visited Amanohashidate for one day, arriving from Kyoto in the morning and leaving the following morning. We were able to visit the View Park, take in the view and some rides (with my son), and then walk the sandbar and return before dinner. The hotel (Taikyourou) was an amazing traditional inn next to the Chionji Temple and rotating bridge. We enjoyed every minute of our visit to Amanohashidate and wished we could have stayed another day.
Miyazu is an old port town near Amanohashidate. It has great access to the surrounding sights. We stayed overnight and had a good time going to a nearby waterfall (Kanabiki) and eating in a restaurant in town (Tondaya) which had excellent, seafood at low prices. We had a great day going up the Amanohashidate viewing platform and the Nariaji Temple complex. Additionally, Ine, a quaint fishing village, is only a bus ride away!
The hotel once was a great property, and the views are breath taking! people are kind, but bare that noone speaks English and most of self-service has been implemented as possible such as collect your own amenities upon check in from the ground floor, for example. I love the location of the hotel, just be aware that if you do not have a car DO NOT come under any circumstance as there is no means for transportation, no combini close, no restaurants. So watch carefully your resources.

I love this place so much! If you don't mind staying one train station away from Amanohashidate, this is the best place to go (especially if you're with friends/family. The place is clean, beds are so comfy, and you'll have your own kitchen. We were able to cook our own food. Also, the staff are very polite. It was very easy to communicate with the owner, too.
Excellent location as it was less than five minutes away from amanohashidate station. Decent size for the room. Well kept and clean with the usual hotel amenities. You can also use the onsen from the next door hotel so that's nice. It's a great deal for the money you spent.
Miyazu
The staff was really friendly and available. They even spontaneously proposed to help get us to the station The 4th floor onsen is small but we each get out for ourselves so it was a great experience with a good view of the bay
Miyazu
Traditional Japanese hotel with some 7 rooms in an old building. Rooms and Onsen are a bit small and dated. Excellent service with nice breakfast and dinner. Excellent location right next to the famous rotating bridge.
Enjoyed the traditional ryokan experience. Loved the spacious room set-up with tea corner. Comes with traditional onsen experience. Owner-manager was very hospitable, showed us around his property.
Miyazu
It’s located only a few minutes walk from Amanohashidate Station and the land-bridge. It was nice and quiet, very relaxing. The outdoor private bath was a treat, especially at night.
Miyazu
Superbly finished property with uniquely appointed rooms. Quiet, excellent location for local sites. Bright restaurant with good Japnese set course food. Good onsen.
Miyazu
Small and private hotel, run by a friendly couple. The location, the food and the facility was just and even better than what we needed.
Nice view from our hotel room, nice ofuro on the premises though a little small. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel was very clean, our room was spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
