This accommodation combines traditional Okinawan architecture with modern elements very well. Every corner of the space reflects the host's meticulous eye, and the front garden is incredibly beautiful. The best part is that the sea is just a one-minute walk from the house. The shallow depth of the water makes it easy and enjoyable to swim. Furthermore, the kindness of the host was the best I have ever experienced at any accommodation. Thanks to this place, I would love to experience Okinawan culture again.

It was a small villa in the center of the village. Very quiet and comfortable. The terrace was a great bonus. I really loved the stay there. Plenty of space for more people to stay! There was a cute sign at the entrance with welcome and my name, this made me smile. :)

Words can barely describe how exquisite our stay was. After traveling the Japanese mainland and Okinawa, we stayed for six consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner included as the final stop on our journey. The hotel’s location on the kouri-island, with surrounding views over the ocean truly is unique. From all we have seen on our travel, the Kouri-island was the truly best finish to our travel. Culinarily, the hotel’s “Bombance”-restaurant offers enriching experiences, with an amazing deep-dive into the Japanese kitchen. Noteworthy is the attention that the staff pays to one’s food-preferences as well as the fact that we also had two nights where Japanese specialty cooking was practiced. Breakfast is rich and diverse, with the choice between European and Japanese breakfast. The pool, spa and sports facilities are top-notch and quiet. A nice amenity is the poolside “happy hour” with drinks (beer, prosecco and non-alcoholic) “on the house” from 12 until 6 o’clock. The hotel is a center of tranquility and relaxation, where one must not care about anything. This would not have been possible without the excellent, friendly and thoughtful staff. On our day of departure even a breakfast-box was prepared as we couldn’t participate at normal breakfast. It sure is unique to have been to a hotel where literally everything was perfect.

The resort is located in a remote area and is not easy to reach by public transport. You have to walk about 900 meters from the bus stop. You have to take two buses from the airport in Naha. However, the place is worth the effort. Beautiful beach with lots of umbrellas, very nicely landscaped surroundings, tasty and varied food. There are several restaurants to choose from on site. We stayed in a palm cottage: it was comfortable, cozy, clean and we slept well. We were also close to everything. The service was very helpful and friendly: they helped book transport, a table in a restaurant, changed money for small change needed in laundry machines, etc. A big advantage was also the free bus, which can take you to most attractions. In my country, they say about such a place that "the only thing missing is bird's milk", which means that it was great and you can only point out minor shortcomings.

I stayed in Okinawa for five days, with the last two days...

I stayed in Okinawa for five days, with the last two days spent at Nerome01. If the first three days were a wonderful trip, then the last two days were an experience to cleanse my soul. Waking up in the morning from this house, I could see the beautiful greenery. My daughter described it as like a tropical rainforest. The house was fully equipped, very clean, and I could sense the care of the maintenance staff. At the same time, we spent relaxing family time on the beach a few minutes away from the house, in a quiet and undisturbed environment with a beautiful sea view. Finally, I would like to thank Mr. Kubo san. He gave us professional guidance to make our stay easy. Even picked us up from the Lawson store to the house. Thank you very much!
