We stayed for two nights to explore the local area. It was very comfortable and spacious with a modern design. Great view out over the bay towards the sunset, including from the bath. Breakfast and dinner at the associated restaurant excellent. Recommend walk along seafront to Shiroyama Park and beyond and fresh local seafood lunch at Umikara.

We had a great stay at Naoki`s place. It was super close to the beach and local restaurants and we could walk to all major attractions. The room and house were clean and comfortable. Naoki was a friendly and attentive host who was kind enough to pick us up and drop us to the local train station. He took time to show us around the town on the drive and pointed out local attractions he recommended for us to check out. We would highly recommend staying here!

Truly amazing house in a newly renovated traditional house in the middle of a small village deep in the countryside. Every thing is brand new and top-notch, including a sauna, outside bath and indoor bath. The beddings were super soft and the host gave us detailed information when we arrived. Quite close to the traditional kayabuki no Sato village by car.

It was so amazing to stay here! The owners were so friendly and caring. They gave us many local tips, offered daily cleaning, new amenities, and fresh towels. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, and everything is brand new. The house is located in the old district of Obama and close to many amazing restaurants and of course the beach promenade. We loved our time here and regret not staying longer.

Absolutely amazing - EVERYTHING! The host was extremely friendly, spoke well English and explained a lot about the place and the concept as well as giving local recommendations. She even came down in the morning to bring and cook breakfast for us. The way they renovated those old houses so properly, making it modern but keeping the old features and structures intact is just beautiful. Apart from that the location was comfortable and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and wind down.
