I had an amazing stay in Kuon Villa. The house was renovated with much love and combines old and new in a very stylish way. If you want to experience a traditional Japanese house but don’t want to miss out on modern comfort, this is the house for you. This was really one of my best stays in Japan. Spacious modern kitchen and eating area, very comfortable bed and nice Sauna and Bathroom. The highlights are the beautiful Tatami rooms that offer an amazing view into the surrounding Garden. I unfortunately only stayed for one night and spend most of my time sitting in the tatami room, drinking tea and looking at the beautiful Garden. The house also offers a lot of privacy as it is a bit on the edge of the village and has everything you need for a relaxed stay, from BBQ, deckchairs to entertainment system (Bluetooth box and projector). High quality amenities were also supplied. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The house is located in the countryside, I recommend buying supplies in one of the cities on the way. There are also some restaurants nearby. I came by car from Fukuyama which took about an hour and was a nice ride through the hills, I enjoyed staying away from the crowded big cities. The manager was very friendly and replied fast to any questions I had. I will be back for sure, next time for a longer stay.

It was a very Cozy and Comfortable stay for us preparing for our Shimanami Cycle. We rented our bikes from the hotel - very good bike.

We had to check out before breakfast time and the kitchen prepared us an incredibly good Bento breakfast box including orange juice to go. All the staff is amazing and was the friendliest one we ever had in our long travel history. They even arranged an extra air port bus shuttle for us to be at the airport before the official shuttle service started. Thank you so much for your great job!

Superb accommodation in beautifully designed new hotel/ryokan. I stayed in the mixed dormitory. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Very quiet at night even when full. Short walk from the train station and to the wharf for bike rental. Restaurants and supermarket two minutes walk away. Cho and Shane are marvellous hosts, and we are now good friends. Easy to make friends with fellow travellers in the shared dining area, and designer style lounge. I loved my 7 day stay at Lemonsea, and in Onomichi. I would have stayed longer.

All the staff in LOG is super nice and friendly. Both breakfast and dinner here are excellent! Highly recommend. I’ll definitely stay in LOG again when I visit Onomichi next time:)

We loved our stay. The hotel has recently been done up and is beautifully renovated. The views are amazing and the rooftop bar and onsen are lovely. Staff are amazing. We had a car which made it very convenient as it’s up on the hill but only a short taxi ride.
