We had a nice room facing the lake & the Singaporean owners upgraded us to a room with tatami seats. It has a in-house onsen, therefore I never showered in my room. My mom was happy that there’s someone to speak Cantonese with her in Japan. My first night happened to be the Summer Festa at Lake Toya & so we watched the fireworks with the accompanying stage band. On the second night, the owners treated me with a few rounds of Scotch whisky. On the day we departed, we were given a delicious cheesecake as a goodbye gift. This affirmed my belief that traveling wasn’t taking great photos but making great connections with people.

What a beautiful hotel!! Our bedroom had views to the lake, it was amazing. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the onsen was amazing. We were lucky, at the time we went my daughter and I had the whole onsen to ourselves.

Excellent! Highly recommend staying here, comfy and spacious with everything you need. Also really nice coffee and hand coffee grinder. The bathroom and shower is large and very roomy. Parking space right outside door, vending and and coffee stand right outside. Also ramen shop right next door. Such a good location!

Well equipped kitchen, tidy and spacious rooms, dinning room. We are family of 6 persons from Hong Kong. Enjoy staying in this house and wanna book again next time. House owner is nice and helpful. They come to house in minutes to solve the door l9ck problem. It would fit people driving car, 7/11 convenient shop nearby, only drive 2 minutes. Overall enjoy with 5 stars.
