Kofukan offers a hot spring bath, multi-course Japanese dinners, and Japanese-style rooms with views of Mount Myoko. One of the best ryokan i stayed at! The staff extremely laid back, but still courteous. Food was great, room amenities enough to make us feel comfortable, and the room itself surprisingly spacious! On top of that, it's 10 minutes from the train station. Would stay here again without thinking much about it!
Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, 森の宿 ビヨルク is located in Myoko. Beautiful accommodation and very lovely friendly people. Atushi and Mamiko were very helpful and went out of their way to get us to our bus on time in the morning. Amazing food and excellent collection of vinyl to listen to. I only wish I knew about them sooner.
Situated within 2 km of Ikenotaira Onsen and 3.6 km of Akakura Onsen Ski Area in Myoko, Yado Brodiaea features accommodation with free WiFi and flat-screen TV. Perfect. Have been to japan 12 times, one of my favorite places I have stayed. Will be back again 100% sure
Situated in Myoko, 2 km from Ikenotaira Onsen and 3.6 km from Akakura Onsen Ski Area, Pension Moomin Papa features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and a shared lounge. The owners are really wonderful people. I had such a great time there. They have been super helpful with all my travellneeeds, picked me up from the train station and the resort.
Set in Myoko, 2 km from Ikenotaira Onsen, and Akakura Onsen Ski Area reachable within 3.6 km, Legend Inn Myoko offers a bar, a shared lounge and free WiFi. Gorgeous lodge very close to five different ski resorts that are all within a 5-10 minute drive. A free shuttle stops right outside for Ikenotaira. Another shuttle bus stops within a few hundred meters that links you up to the other resorts. The hosts were great and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station/ski resorts when needed. We also loved the Onsen that was right next door. Perfect after a day on the slopes. The rooms have beautiful views over the snow with en-suite bathrooms which can be hard to find in traditional Japanese lodge style accommodation. There are also some lovely common areas including one with a fireplace which was our favourite. Our hosts also recommended a number of amazing local restaurants for dinner during our stay.
