Yokohama was a wonderful experience! The train station is big and pretty easy to navigate. I liked all the food and shopping options at Porta and Takashimaya store had alot of levels with lots of things to see. Ippudo Ramen and Soga for shopping were both awesome! Went to ChinaTown and experienced Chinese New Year- that was really fun! It's a great town to stay a few days in - would love to come back.
Had a short visit and did not get to see much of Yokohama since I did a day trip to Kamakura. I loved walking along the old train trail in the harbor area. Spent a lovely morning at Sankeien Gardens. Beautiful spot. My visit was in early January and there were daffodils and camellias in bloom. There are several small shrines, old houses and a lovely 3 story pagoda on site. Two couples wearing traditional kimonos were having we’d photos taken. Seeing them walking along the shore of the lake was magical. It took us about 20 minutes from the hotel by bus and then about a ten minute walk to the garden from the bus stop. Worth a visit!!
We stayed here prior to a cruise. We flew into Narita then took the Limo Bus to YCAT (Yen 2000pp for seniors) in Yokohama then a taxi from YCAT to hotel (Yen 1630). Location is overlooking the harbour. We saw our cruise ship arrive from our balcony 8th floor. Very small room but it was clean & friendly. There is a McDonalds a few doors up where we had breakfast. Also a Family Mart which has coffee, sandwiches, pastries etc. Across road we looked onto a park and the 30's liner Hakawa Maru which we visited. Would recomend hotel if you want a balcony and view. A lovely waterfront to walk around.
Yokohama is such a cosmopolitan city with modern architecture, nice parks, great shopping and amazing food. Minato Mirai and the area around the Landmark tower is my favourite to walk around. Getting around is very easy, either by foot or by metro. If I come back I will definitely visit the same places.
Stayed here 3 days after a 19-day cruise to match our flight home. Yokohama has lots to offer tourists: sites, shopping, transportation. We purposely avoided Tokyo since we’re more nature and lovers of common local life. Still got a taste of big city staying here less the crowds. City knows how to care for its tourist visitors. We should know more about how to use public transportation since city has great facilities. Thanks to city of Yokohama. Wished we had more time there.
A lovely place to stay and so easy to get around. The Pasmo was brilliant to enable us to easily get to all the places we wanted to visit.Everyone was very helpful and wanted to make our stay enjoyable.

The hotel and room is clean, they give Shiseido's amenities. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Staffs are friendly. Location near to (almost) all Yokohama's sightseeing. Around 5 mins walk to Chinatown. Room is big enough compare to others Japan's hotel. Near to the station, so we can easily using train, taxi is so expensive in Yokohama, when you open the door and sit, you can see the argo is already ¥750!

I'd happily stay here again.

Located directly at the exit of a subway station, this hotel is ideal for a business stay of a few nights. The single room is spacious enough for a single traveler. It is very quiet, and offers a chair and a table, plus all kinds of amenities, including a small fridge. The breakfast is outstanding, easily the best out of the three hotel breakfasts I tried in Japan!

We booked rooms for us as well as another family member as they used to stay here as kids when their ship docked. Our rooms - one double and one twin - were both fabulous. The double was a bay view but ours had a great view of the bay and shoreline as well without being designated as such. It was great to just sit at the window and watch the ships - and the beautiful lights at night. Beds were comfortable, staff was very very helpful (and of course, no tipping allowed). We walked to Chinatown and the shopping street as well as to the international boat terminal which is worth a look. We got a great rate which made the stay even better!
