A lot of tips, we could enjoy the lao new year with the locals near the stadium and the only mall in the city Friendship Mall which is about 5 mins walk where there is a night market, Banks and ATM's around.Yummy breakfast with eggs coffee and bread(it's not included in the room rate) 3 small grocery stores around the property, a print shop where we can stich our torn clothes. A beautiful local market to buy fruits, vegetables with a small food court, pharmacies. Local salons, night Market,street food stalls,gas stations, super markets and a lot more around. Bus/Tuktuk booking services. Very Helpful property which is always easy to move around. Usually I like this kind of properties. It will connect with the locals.
Got a lot of benefits for a less price.

CanadaThe hotel was a great deal for the price. The breakfast was excellent… lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to town… we used the roof top pool everyday. It was modern, clean and spacious with great staff. One of the best deals for a hotel we have had. We really liked this hotel.

I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance.
I enjoyed that everything was in walking distance. The local people are very nice and helpful. The local food was delicious, and the environment was a relaxing atmosphere. If you get lost any local would help you with directions or even take you to your destination. Pakse had many Buddhist monuments that you can walk into and explore and take pictures. Wonderful little city would like to come again.

I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall.
I loved the zipline over the Tad Fane Waterfall. It was definitely worth the money. The waterfalls are a bit far away from each other on the loop. The sunset from the Buddha on the hill or from the side of the Mekong river is just magical.

Pakse is probably one of the most beautiful places with really incredible people.
We rented a bike, it was safe for us there are not many cars on the road and the ones on scooter drive safely. We rented the scooter via the hotel, drove the waterfalls and all around Paske.The have a great market, really good . restaurants

Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center.
Pakse is a small, dirty town without a clear center. Few good restaurants, and few people speak English. You have to have a scooter to get anywhere. There are interesting places in the area but not many of them are properly developed. Rather, their best years are behind them. On my next visit to Pakse would like to avoid Pakse city.

Unfortunately I was only in Pakse for 1 night.
Unfortunately I was only in Pakse for 1 night. The city has lots to do and lots to offer, however isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing. Many come here to do the Pakse loop which is supposed to be great.

Pakse is slow and peaceful that is suitable for those who want to have a travel with slow-paced.
Sitting and chilling on the banks of Mekong river where is the border between Laos and Thailand. You could feel the great of nature.

Heaven guesthouse is a gem in Pakse. Tina is an amazing host and has done so much to make this a unique stay. Rooms are comfortable and colourful and a really good size. Shower had good hot water and aircon works.
Tina was also able to organise a tour of the Bolaven plateau for me within minutes of me arriving.
I didn't join family dinner but I did try Tina's cooking and it was amazing- definitely recommend eating dinner at the guest house.

The hotel is nice and especially if you want to be a bit outside the backpacking scene it’s perfect. The rooms are nice, clean and the pool side is relaxing after a hot day out. Staff was nice and helpful even though the language barrier is a bit of a challenge. Easy to rent a scooter directly at the property.

Great guesthouse for Bolaven Loop people and anybody else passing through Pakse! The owner is very friendly and helpful with years of experience in Laos. Guesthouse is in a great location, very clean and comfortable. And we loved the breakfast!!! Great value for money. Would stay again.

Good hotel made even better by the great roof terrace bar and restaurant. Excellent stopping place to explore the Bolaven plateau avec livre on to Champasak. Don't miss the chance to meet Roberto from the travel agency attached to the hotel. A very interesting guy.

The hotel is a really nice and cosy place. You'll find everything you need to have a nice stay in Paksé. Good beds, good food, helpful owner and three pets (one dog and two cats, all adorable!).
