We booked an English-speaking guide to show us around Angkor wat, wish proved invaluable to us. Siem Reap the town is quite easy to navigate especially with the Tuk Tuk drivers. We did eat at Pub Street but if you go one block over from there you find most things are cheaper {food and drinks} and our tuk tuk driver suggested an eat all you can for $7 just around the corner from our hotel. The people are really friendly and a lot speak English. Be aware very hot place to visit .

The primary draw of the Angkor Archaeological Park lies in...

The primary draw of the Angkor Archaeological Park lies in its ancient temples, notably Angkor Wat. However, after exploring a few of these temples, visitors might find themselves somewhat weary of the repetitive architectural motifs. Moreover, the ticket prices are exorbitant. While it’s true that the park requires funds for maintenance, the $62 price tag for a 3-day pass feels excessively high. Similarly, the cost of a single-entry visa also appears steep.

Angkor Wat was interesting to visit but I appreciated the other much older temples to Angkor Wat itself. There was a lot to be done that I didn't get the chance to do. I wanted to go Ziplining in Angkor Wat, but there is always next time.

One of the best places in Cambodia.

One of the best places in Cambodia. I recommend staying there, it beats PP and other places but there are some caveats to be aware of: 1) The pub street is nice but most of the locals seems to be prostitutes so it is a good idea to check if they face you. 2) One needs to hackle in the night street in order to save money but I recommend buying silk and such since it's affordable. 3) Pool Party Hostel is the best place to be and I recommend to check out the temples. PassApp is handy and 7/11 nearby and I recommend to eat in local places near the river good and affortable food.

If you like temples, this is the place to go!

If you like temples, this is the place to go! They are many, and varied. The crown jewel, of course, is Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and nicknamed the 8th Wonder of the World. Pub Street and the markets were fun. You can easily get around via tuk tuk, IF the weather is bearable. It was very hot when we were there (mid-May), so we opted for a driver with an air-conditioned car. We found accommodations and food to be a bit more expensive than Vietnam, but still very affordable. We think three days was sufficient. We saw many temples, but would have been templed out going any longer. One more tip--before going to Angkor Wat, go to the museum in Siem Reap. We went after visiting AW, and decided to go back to AW after the museum because we realized we had missed some things we should have seen. Oh, and eat amok!

I have stayed at the Home Indochine twice during this year. I frequently travel to Siem Reap since I live in Phnom Penh, and this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had!! The staff from top to bottom treats you like a valued family member. Their warmth and friendliness is genuine and real. They paid attention to every little detail to make my stay pleasurable and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, the facility itself is wonderfully decorated with serene garden adjacent to the pool.

Angkor Land Urban Boutique: A tale of two extremes. Immaculately clean rooms and premises make you feel like royalty, but brace yourself for the breakfast buffet deja vu. The massage service deserves a standing ovation, but beware of the shocking laundry prices that left me speechless. Hot water addicts, rejoice! Just keep an eye out for the bathroom door that's waiting to pull a disappearing act. Despite the quirks, I wholeheartedly recommend this magical hotel in Siem Reap!

Primefold is always my certain choice whenever I am in Siem Reap. Nevertheless, the customer service they provide never stops amusing me! It's always a level up, even though it looks like there's no room for improvement. Keep it up guys! Best hotel in Cambodia in terms of price/quality ratio in my opinion. The interiors, the staff, the pool, the atmosphere - everything's first class. Absolutely amazing. Thanks for what you are. See you again very soon!

The best hotel I've ever been to. The hotel met my expectations, very clean and comfortable, and the swimming pool was a big advantage. However, what deserves the most attention is the hotel staff. I have never met such helpuf, nice and smiling people. They made me feel like at home during my stay. If I ever return to Siem Reap, I will definitely return to these wonderful people. They definitely deserve more than a 10!

I decided to extend my one-night stay in Siem Reap and found the best offer through Tripadvisor. The hotel not only provided early check-in but also upgraded my room to a villa. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel boasts a stunning garden that surrounds the villas and extends to the pool area. I am planning to return to this hotel for a longer stay and will definitely recommend it to others.

I was only in Siem Reap for a day, but I will definitely be back again! The hotel staff were so warm and welcoming, it felt like I arrived at a relative's house. The grounds had a lot more plants than I expected and it made it feel very natural and relaxing. What I loved best, was that there was a semi-private pool directly outside the backdoor of my room! I stayed here with my family of 5. (3 kids) We loved the location more then anything. It really is the best location that I can think of. The hotel is nice and the hotel pool is really great. Our room wasn't 100 clean (some dust on the floor and under the beds) but they came to clean at some point. I would stay here for sure again if I'll be back in Siem Reap.

Best place to be pampered, the service was simply amazing. Amazing food too, and breakfast served directly on your patio, felt like a 5 star hotel. That said the road noise is an issue (bring ear plugs), and the place would need a bit of TLC… but in and out, at this price point you can’t do wrong.
