Hotel is brand new or at least looks like since is very well kept. Super clean good staff very accommodating on every request we made. Very central very easy to start from and come back to. Unfortunate for us the sky bar wasn’t open yet, but it’ll look amazing once completed. This morning we left before the kitchen was open and they’ve prepared a takeaway breakfast for the three of us. Very impressive

FAQs about hotels in Phnom Penh

Cambodia's Colourful Capital

Cambodia has successfully dusted itself off from the ravages of war with its colourful capital of Phnom Penh rising from the ashes and sparkling once more. This fascinating city, on the banks of the Mekong River, features exotic markets, cultural jewels and is home to some of the friendliest people on earth.

A visit to the National Museum captures a slice of Cambodia’s ancient Khmer history and art. A different and more recent history suffocates and overwhelms visitors to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former prison of the Khmer Rouge, and The Killing Fields are a short drive from the capital.

The Royal Palace is a striking centrepiece in the centre of Phnom Penh, and is home to the Emerald Buddha and Silver Pagoda. Not far away is the Cambodian Independence Monument that celebrates Cambodia’s sovereignty.

You can satisfy your hunger pains with delicious French-Indochina-inspired meals at various street stalls or classy restaurants. The riverside area has the Art Deco Central Market for a great bargain and there are a variety of bars, especially near Sisowath Quay.

Take time to walk around the French colonial streets with its mix of slow-moving monks and speedy motorbikes. Booking.com has many hotels located in Daun Penh and Chamkar Mon districts, amongst others.

I can highly recommend a "private" tour of Phnom Penh by "Tuc Tuc". It was highly interesting and customized so that only the sights that interested me were included. It did make the trip a success also the fact that the driver was able to speak some English and only sometime the help of google translate made it possible to have a detailed and informed 4 hours tour. Btw this was organised with the help of the reception staff at the hotel.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia's bustling capital, is a city of...

Phnom Penh, Cambodia's bustling capital, is a city of contrasts and charm. The Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda captivate with their regal beauty, while the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Killing Fields offer poignant insights into the country's tragic history. Exploring the Central and Russian markets is a vibrant experience, revealing the city's bustling commerce and rich culture. The riverside promenade along Sisowath Quay is perfect for evening strolls, offering stunning sunset views and a lively atmosphere with numerous cafes and bars. The local cuisine is a highlight, with must-tries like Amok and Lok Lak found in both street stalls and upscale restaurants. What truly sets Phnom Penh apart is the warmth and hospitality of its people. Locals are genuinely friendly, often going out of their way to help visitors. Whether it's a vendor guiding you through market stalls, a tuk-tuk driver sharing stories about the city, or a local family inviting you to share a meal, the kindness and generosity of the people make you feel welcome and cherished. Despite rapid modernization, Phnom Penh retains its traditional charm and offers an unforgettable experience. The blend of historical significance, vibrant culture, and heartfelt local interactions makes it a unique and endearing destination.

Tuk tuk carried my friend and myself on some quite long trips. Also handy for getting about in the city. Staff at the front desk will hire a reliable driver. A taxi is the other alternative. Hotel staff will explain to the driver where you want to go.

It's a nice enough city, a bit busy with motorbikes and tuk-tuks. Airline agencies were a bit difficult to locate, to phone, to even open the doors! MY biggest surprise was the quantity of plastics thrown into fields and drains out of town. Little wonder that the sea is becoming polluted! The Royal Palace and gardens are quite a place to see.

Take a trip on the river at sunset. Visit the Silk Farm. Be amazed at the TukTuk & Moped traffic & hectic city life. See, but then leave behind, the over-development of high-rise buildings and area around Diamond Island. Eat at Le Langka - great French Restaurant, lovely people. Drink at the bar next door, behind the Cola machine!

Beautiful building and pool. Amazing staff, so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were great, very big and comfortable. AC worked well and the daily cleaning was great - (free bottled water topped up everyday). The safe, kettles and electricity worked. Really good value for money. Food was fantastic in the restaurant and the drinks were also very good. Again, good value for money. So nice to have a safe, queer friendly hotel in Phnom Penh. Hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, in walkable distance to the Royal palace and Mekong river. There are plenty places with food, bars and markets nearby. They also arranged for my further transportation. They also organize pickup from the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.
