This fascinating city, on the banks of the Mekong River, features exotic markets, cultural jewels and is home to some of the friendliest people on earth.

The Royal Palace is a striking centrepiece in the centre of Phnom Penh, and is home to the Emerald Buddha and Silver Pagoda. Not far away is the Cambodian Independence Monument that celebrates Cambodia’s sovereignty.

Don’t come here if you aren’t super white, they will treat you differently. Passport bros don’t waste your time here cause women are super awkward and introverted. The air is very polluted and the streets don’t really have sidewalks. It’s extremely warm so you are constantly sweating and feeling sick from the gas fumes in the air. The food is pricey and has small portions of meat . Gyms are expensive and not ventilated so you’re dripping in sweat by just standing in a gym. The customs officers are racist towards non asians with dark complexions , they will constantly keep scanning your passport. Westerners are very introverted and won’t give you 10 seconds before f your day for a chat.

Cool city, not too chaotic in comparison with other South-East Asia capitals. There's plenty of interesting things to see and do. Getting around on Tuk Tuks is fun and you can call them using the Grab app. Make sure to visit the Central Market and eat at the food court there. Dollarised economy means you can pay everything with US dollars, or using the local Cambodian Riel.

A easygoing city rich in culture and atmosphere that also has a quiet sophistication to it. Though there are many large anonymous skyscrapers being built, so far they don't seem to detract from the shady, atmospheric neighborhoods. This is one of the best cities in Asia to just go out and walk, with a new and interesting find down every side street and back alley. The old colonial buildings are beautiful and mostly well-kept, and the temples are fascinating. And though it is sprawling, it still feels like a cozy village in many places, with distinct streets and avenues that each have their own charm.

Although the roads are mostly crowded with traffic it is not a polluted city as others I have been to. Many of the Tuk Tuks run on CNG or are electric. Walking anywhere I found difficult as motorbikes or cars are parked everywhere. However, the city is an adventure not to be missed. The food and people are amazing and there is not enough time to try everything.
One of the nicest places I've stayed in Cambodia. Cleaning, facilities and furniture are to a high standard. It's more like having your own apartment than bring in a hotel room.
Staff and owners are all very welcoming and helpful.
Good location close to all the facilities of the city but is just outside of the super busy bit so it's quite peaceful.
The rooftop chill out area and pool are a hidden gem.
Breakfast exceptional, world class staff that could have been comfortable in any 5 star hotel in any major city, friendly, professional, and caring - without being over the top (a la say Dubai) but ensuring we just had the best experience. The pool side location was just beautiful, as a breeze swept through in beautiful sunshine, and I had a great double espresso and even better almond croissant
The hotel is beautiful and I have stayed here before and it was the reason why we rebooked to stay again.
This time we moved across to Okay Palace hotel which is all owned and managed by Okay Boutique
The hotel is just amazing, recently and nicely furnished. Our room was big, comfortable and really clean. Breakfast is continental and good and the location is really close to city centre.
