I had a wonderful stay at Mresty Guest House! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. The food was a real highlight: both lunch and dinner are available at an extra cost and every meal was absolutely delicious. The location is perfect, just steps away from the hiking trails. The room was spotless. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Everything was excellent; I will add that you may have good Lebanese breakfast there, and the host will help you hire a taxi at a reasonable price to take you around. The city itself is charming, as are its surroundings. Moukhtara palace is recommended.

Aal Aoudeh exceeded our expectations in every way. The setting near Deir el Qamar centre is beautiful, and the atmosphere of the place and welcome from the charming hosts make it immediately easy to relax. The rooms have real character, the comfortable and almost cave-like living room in particular. Being able to light a fire at the end of the day made it all the more special (wood supplied on request). The garden views are perfect for morning coffee. The small kitchen (two-ring hob, fridge and sink) is more than enough, and restaurants, take-aways and supermarkets are just a short tuk-tuk or car ride up the hill. If you prefer warmth, character and genuine hospitality over what is often impersonal hotel luxury, this is a very special place to stay.
