FAQs about hotels in Beirut

Cosmopolitan City with Fantastic Atmosphere

Once called a “Paris of the Middle East”, Beirut is the Lebanese capital set alongside the Mediterranean seashore and flanked by the Lebanese Mountains. Severely destroyed during the Civil War, the city underwent major reconstruction and is now a vibrant place full of nightlife and shopping venues.

Beirut is often considered by many major media outlets to be one of the top cities in the world due to its cosmopolitan nature and commercial development. See it for yourself on Rue Verdun, the trendiest shopping area or the Central District, the city’s historical core, full of modern structures, dining venues and open public spaces.

Stroll down the tourists’ favourite, Hamra Street, featuring plenty of boutique shops, popular cafés and restaurants. Beirut is sometimes called the “Party Capital of the Arab World” so while you’re at it, dance the night off at the clubs at Rue Monnot.

For a bit of history mixed with upbeat nightlife, pay a visit to Achrafieh, one of the city’s oldest and most charming districts. Since Beirut has over 5,000 years of history, a visit to its National Museum and Archaeological Museum is a real treat.

Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport is only a 10-minute drive from the city centre and Booking.com offers a variety of hotels and apartments in Achrafieh and Hamra for your perfect Beirut stay.

Beirut is a large, chaotic city with great bars, restaurants, views, and historical sites. You need to do the corniche walk to see some beautiful coastal sites, and need to visit the MIM museum. There were many good places for shawarma!

very nice city vibrant with life and tourist attractions. a lot of places to go and see. the most attractive place i visited was Batroun & Byblos. Jeita Grotto is a must see location, but avoid the taxis at this place. they excessively overcharging. the downside is the heavy traffic and the overcharging taxis, defiantly recommending to use transport apps like UBER it will save you ton of money.

Beirut is a resilient city and the shining face of the Middle East and Arabic-speaking nations. The people are full of life and hope. Sexual freedom, smiles, life, liberty, beauty, and history are all present in this city. I wish I could see the rest of the world smiling like this city is smiling in the face of misery and wars. words break when it comes to painting the face of Beirut. Yet, it is not just a pleasure; it is life showing itself as resilient and smiling. The Flower of the Middle East that is always blossoming.

Beirut is a beautiful and lively city full of history, good food, and friendly people. Our family really enjoyed walking along the Corniche and visiting the cafés and shops around Hamra Street. The atmosphere was welcoming and safe, and the people were always kind and helpful. We ate at several nearby restaurants, including Crepaway and Barbar, both offering delicious Lebanese dishes at good prices. Getting around Beirut was easy — taxis are available everywhere, and most places are close to each other. For families with young children, the seaside promenade and nearby parks are great for evening walks. We also enjoyed short trips to Raouche Rock and the marina area. The only downside is the traffic during rush hours, but it’s manageable. Overall, Beirut is a city full of charm, energy, and warmth — we would happily return again.

Modern hotel, and spacious room. The bathroom was pretty big, and with a window. Nice (little) swimming pool at the roof-top. Position can be good if you need a place close to the airport and/or easy to depart from for day-trips out of Beirut (but still, not so far from the city centre too). One of the receptionists - Rita - was very helpful and kind.

Had the most amazing stay in this hotel. The staff are so lovely and in general I had the best experience. If it is going to be your first time in Beirut I really recommend coming here and also the pub attached to the hotel is perfect. Will always be coming back to this place. The staff was outstandingly hospitable and provided assistance 24/7 for all our requests. Both Tamer and Riad showed Amazing customer care skills that you rarely see even in 5 star hotels. The area is nice at day time, and you can walk around 30 -40 minutes to Pigeon rock and Downtown, and around 1 hour to Mar Mikhael. Nice restaurants nearby.
