Beverly Hotel is a four star Boutique luxury hotel, renovated in 2017 to match with the third millennium’s comfortable and luxurious taste. Very nice hotel. The staff was amazing, so helpful, also the housekeeper. Breakfast was above average, some dishes were very tasty. Hotel is friendly with vegetarian people. From the hotel to downtown is 15-20 minutes walking distance. Close to the sea, to the Holiday Inn relict hotel, supermarket is nearby. Amazing cuisine, night life, hospitable and kind people. Hundreds of historic sites to see around the country, since Lebanon is quite "small" you can use Beirut as a base to visit many places.
Unfortunately Beirut is going through an eco crisis and it's sad to see the ruins and feel the pain but it does not take away the beauty of the seas and pleasure of the historical sights. Chatting with people and finding our way across Beirut and Byblos was very nice adventurous. In general if you are up for adventure and would like to go on a budget trip with some twist then I would recommend! Oh and don't forget to take cash with you as the card system does not work efficiently. It's not unsafe but do be careful.
the country simply has soul. u can take everything away from her... but you can't ever take that away from the country. dine at Casablanca *staple locals fav have a coffee in Rawdah cafe go to sporting and enjoy living the 70's beach vibe. joining + pierre & friends is awesome too. bar hop in gymmayze and stay at arthaus beirut. stuuuuning hotel with all the magic beirut has to offer.
Beirut is currently troubled with a serious financial crisis, whilst it might be feasible to tourists, tourists might miss basic facilities. Power, mobile lines, internet, all of very poor quality due to the ongoing crisis. If you do not mind these issues, you might enjoy a cheap trip overall Make sure to be updated with daily currency rates and HAGGLE always
Beirut was lovely, I managed to see much of the city in a short time and I felt very comfortable walking around the streets at any time of the day, despite the power cuts and lack of lighting. There is an excellent array of things to do, restaurants to eat at, cafes to sip tea and coffee whilst people watching and an impressive location for taking day excursions out to other cities. Must sea places are the Blue Dome Mosque, Pigeon Rock, the marina and the Hamra shopping district with its amazing cafes and restaurants.
Beirut rewards savvy travelers who don't over-react to news reports. It's a blend of the classy and urban with pockets of misery. First time travelers or the overly sensitive should stay away, but for the more adventurous Beirut has great food--Lebanese cuisine is one of the best in the world--an incredible stretch of the Mediterranean along the Corniche, excellent shopping and cafés, and, above all, the people. They manage all the complexities of life here--the inflation, crazy traffic, power outages--with resilience, calm and great generosity. Wonderful people.
Hamra, Beirut
Amazing...this studio apartment is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen, bathroom, air conditioner, living room, bed room,tv and wifi all was in good condition. The location was great, near from hamra street, shop, cafe and supermarket. The most important is their staff all is very friendly, very helpfull and full of smile exspecially receptionist Mr.Khalil.He will treat you like a friend and the manager Mr.Ramzy was very kind.So i recommend this hotel for your stay if you want to come to beirut.
The hotel is situated in Hamra, very close to American University Beirut (AUB). You can walk within less then 10 minutes to the Mediterranean and can have a walk on the Corniche. Breakfast is served on a beautiful rooftop terrace, where you can also sit in the evening. I liked the design of the hotel ans the interior of the rooms. Bathrooms are very clean. In the cafe on ground floor you can get outstanding food and tasty drinks. I will come back for sure! :-)
Beirut
The breakfast was really good! There is an option for eating on the roof top. You can see the sea. The location is a bonus of this property. It is minutes away from the University and Hamra District, it is two blocks from the boardwalk, 12 minute walk to the yacht club, and just a little further to the Souks of Beirut. We walked nearly everywhere we wanted to go from this hotel.
This Appart/hotel is very well located, the host is so friendly and helpful, he gives nice recommendations about things to see and eat around the neighborhood. The rooms are bigger than expected and clean and comfy. It is very close to the nicest (and only) real park in Beirut, and Badaro one of the best areas for restaurants and bars. I recommend
Great hotel in Hamra, central Beirut. Clean spacious rooms, hospitable staff, perfect location in walking distance to both the seaside promenade, Hamra street and Beirut souks and downtown. Supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Free airport pick up was very convenient. I’d definitely stay here if I visit Beirut again.
The rooms were big and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect amd the rooms were looking to Hamra Street directly. The hotel was recently renovated, so the rooms are quiet new. The neighborhood is good, safe and family friendly. The price is good compared to the other same level hotels in the same area. Also, the Wi-Fi connection is good.
In one word, the staff, they are very helpful, especially Sarah, I needed some help to print an important document urgently, and she saved my day, I would like to thank her very much for her kindness, if I come again to lebanon I would for sure saty in this hotel for his staff, clean room and delicious breakfast
Beirut
The location is perfect for beirut close to downtown and clubs and restaurants and The interior of the hotel is so chic the staff soo helpful thanks to Elio and Maryana. The rooms are very spacious i really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.
the welcoming, it was exceptional! the room is big, and very clean. They give free nescafe everyday which is something I didn't notice in other hotels in lebanon! the swimming pool is big and beautiful. This made us extend our stay for 3 more days!
The hotel is brand new. It is close to the national museum of Beirut and close to the heart of the capital. The electricity is 24/7, which is a real advantage due to the current crisis in Lebanon. The room was clean.
As usual. Very friendly staff, luxurious rooms and nice view. One of the best hotels in Beirut. Definitely will come back again!
Everyone was great and helpful, faculties are not the best but giving the situation in Lebanon it was fair
The hotel located in Hamra, convenient district. The bed was good. The price was ok.
