The location was very calm and quiet, surrounded by beautiful greenery, which made the stay very relaxing. The pool was great, the room was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

we chose the property due to its beautiful gardens, and it did not disappoint. it was a quiet haven away from the busy centre of Hikkaduwa but also close by enough! it was very tranquil. the staff were very friendly. We had breakfast included and went for the srilankan breakfast each day which was wonderful, the portions were huge! they helped us rent a scooter and were the best place we've stayed in in Sri Lanka, jungle vibes with clean rooms and Sir Lanka vibe but also modern enough!

A fantastic hotel, really a hidden gem. From arriving to the hotel, meeting the owner Dale and the whole stay was amazing. Its a small, very pesonal hotel with a very nice atmosphere. The staff did an amazing job, bringng, drinks, coffee etc to our room and helping us with all kinds of things. Its not at the beach, but so close, a quick tuktuk ride away. The foos was fantastic, with a mix of European and Asian food. We highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful and spacious room, the view and tranquility

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is superb, right next to the lake and far from the hustle and noise — a little green paradise surrounded by nature. The large swimming pool is a real highlight, perfect for relaxing. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with a great variety of options. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to stay during our time in Hikkaduwa

As soon as I entered Tranquil Escape Villa, I was greeted with a welcome drink that was amazing. I checked in to my room and wanted to try the pool to relax myself after a hectic day of travel. The pool was clean & well-maintained. It looked as good as it looked in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. I booked a deluxe double room and it had a king-sized bed. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean as well. Mr. Patrick, who was the manager of the property, took great care of me. The breakfast he prepared was absolutely delicious. Overall, my experience at Tranquil Escape Villa was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

The gardens were stunning. The room was huge. This is a great place to visit with a group of friends. Also perfect if you want a quieter time to write or meditate. This would be good for a yoga retreat.

A weekend trip that was affordable but relaxing would have good leisure, value for money. Clean, comfortable, and well-located Amenities (pool, breakfast, parking, etc.) included in the price Quality and taste food and this place was easy to reach from my location so minimal extra spending on transport. During these two days ,we really enjoyed. Especial thanks to the staff.

Olga and Dilip have really created a little paradise here. The two of them are incredibly friendly and helpful people. They accommodate any special requests and even looked after us when we were sick. The prices are higher and more like European prices. But for what you get it's totally OK. The rooms are very clean and as good as new, the air conditioning works great, the pool is clean and the food is great! If you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! Thank you both for your warmth! 😊

Really beautiful location and nice clean rooms

Beautiful garden and pool area! Everything is super clean and a nice design. Great bath rooms with open air jungle vibes, and all is spacy. Shashi the host is super friendly and helped us anytime we needed something. Location is great, only a few steps to the beach and the next coffee shop. We can definitely recommend!

One of the best Boutique resorts we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. It is an 8 rooms resort. but we love their hospitality, personal care, Sri Lanka tasty food. Crab curry was amazing. We love their Cement look finish all around the hotel with Rustic joinery and antique items. Room is spacious with all the facilities; bathroom is bit small. Overall, we got more than Value for money for our stay.

The atmospheric place is hidden in front of the mangro jungle forest and lake. The host is friendly and ready to support you by phone. We were provided early arrival room 6 hours before with no additional charge.

Everything was amazing! It's perfect also for long term stay because you have kitchen and living room all together! 😊 The swimming pool is also great!

I felt the location is awesome .The wind of the lagoon brings breezy ambience.The local cuisine is excellent giving individual attention .I felt the founder is promoting green concept at the location .The founder of the venue maintaince his key objective of establishing the resting place is to promote welbeing of both guests and also fellow villagers. i was inspired by the design ethos of the landscape of the villa.

The host are experienced hoteliers and very welcoming. The place itself is a paradise with a beautiful garden and nice pool to escape the heat. Would really highly recommend staying here! Unfortunate we only stayed for one night.
