Located in Maskeliya, Heaven Hills Guest House has a garden and terrace. This was one of the best guest houses we stayed at during our 3 week Sri Lanka trip. The place was meticulously clean with a nice sized balcony overlooking tea fields and large windows letting in lots of light. We required laundry service which was done right away for us when we arrived and even provided with a drying rack as we prefer to air dry. The entire family is lovely and works tirelessly to maintain the property and service their guests, there was always someone available when we needed something or had questions about the area. We also enjoyed several meals here which were delicious, fresh, home cooked and also some of our first without the MSG that we noticed all too often being added to our food. We were also provided with several reasonably priced tuk tuk rides to/from Adams Peak at 1am (after building a wall ALL day in the heat the day before) and also to the railway station in Hatton. We can't say enough good things about this family and property, it truly was an amazing and peaceful stay for us. Value for money here is 10/10 and I would recommend anyone to stay here.
River view inn is located in Maskeliya and features a shared lounge. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and room service, along with free WiFi. The owner was very helpful all the way, from organizing our transportation to Adam's Peak to dropping us at the local bus station. The breakfast was very filling and delicious. Only nice memories! Thank you!
River Side Guest House & Travels has a restaurant, free bikes, a bar and shared lounge in Maskeliya. Among the various facilities are a garden, water sports facilities, as well as barbecue facilities.... Excellent property. Very helpful and very friendly. Nice location.
Madhusha Rest is located within a 6.2 mi radius from 6 scenic waterfalls. This affordable accommodations provides comfortable guestrooms fitted with private bathrooms. Amazing! It was a beautiful oasis. A nice clean basic guest house in an absolutely stunning area. It’s a 30 min tuktuk ride early in the morning to Adams peak. This was not our highlight of our stay anyway. Adams peak was fine- but not a beautiful nature hike- more of a busy hike full of tea houses and ppl selling stuff. The view though from the top was amazing! But our stay was the best. In the middle of the tea hills- many stunning walks around the area. You won’t want to leave. Hemantha and his family were great hosts. All kind and helpful. Hemantha helped us out so much in all the perfect places to walk and see. Everything he told us was very accurate. Breakfast and dinners were nice.
It's a beautiful part of the country with lots of stunning views from numerous hiking trails. Sri Pada was everything we expected and more! We left at 2am and made it to the top by 5am (not on a Poya or weekend). I would have loved to been here in summer to enjoy more hiking and then a dip in the lake!
