Hotel is very clean, the cleanest hotel we stayed in Sri Lanka. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Dinner was great, chef Shalom prepared very tasteful fish and prawns. They also prepared special meal for our daughter, everything was delicious. Shalom and Shashi were very nice and helpful. They provide us late check out. We felt there like at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had such a wonderful time at Art Yala! The house is modern, spotless, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The family made us feel right at home, and the dinner they prepared was one of the best we had during our trip. The rooms — especially the bathrooms — were spacious and beautifully designed. We stayed at My Resort Yala for one night and were completely satisfied. The team is very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything you need, including a kettle with coffee and tea, a fridge, and a hairdryer. Everything was also very clean. We also booked our safari to Yala National Park through the resort (Janaka Safari) and had a great experience.

Excellent, exceptional care, near beautiful lake, where you can watch the birds, owner is very helpful, they also cook there. Short walk to town, small shop on the corner. Internet working well. They book you Safari tour so you do not have to worry about anything. Nice open space common area.

We had an amazing time at Black Panther. We were greeted by welcome drinks and provided with a detailed list of activities/sights in the vicinity! The owner helped us book the safari and on our departure day even arranged a tuktuk driver to help us get to the bus stop and find the right bus. The dinner was absolutely amazing as well. Upon our return from the safari, we were greeted with refreshments and told not to worry about check out time.

Thank you to the family which provided us this unforgettable stay here in Tissa. They are so friendly and helpful. Furthermore, very clean room and nice view over the lake especially for sunrise. The room was very big and we felt very comfortable. The safari the owner provided was amazing, we saw many animals. We did a sunset tour. To mention: I twisted my ankle some days ago when we were hiking in Ella and the owner of Double Lake View Tissa went with us to a hospital and drove us to pharmacy. This was so kind. Also the food was very nice. Overall, this stay was one of our best we had in Sri Lanka, we would definitely come back again.

The place was beautiful, river facing and quiet. It's close to the bus stand and city center. If you plan on doing a safari at Yala National Park, the place you book your safari with will come and pick you up from the homestay. Mithila our host was so warm and welcoming and made sure we were looked after. The rooms are river facing- just cant get any better to be waking up to the sound of water flowing.

Wery good location. Rooms are clean and comfy. Amazing view from terrace to the rice fields. Owners are very positive, welcoming and service oriented. Good comunication and clear instrucitions in all. We ordered safari through appartment owners and it was a perfect service - on time, good car and good driver. Price corresponds to the market price. There is possibility to order a lunch and dinner - my advice - use this offer, as it was delicios and for reasonable price.
