The staff were exceptional, professional, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was spacious clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant; the paratha and chicken curry was tasty. We arranged a morning safari through the accommodation and had an incredible experience with our driver, Channa, whose determination paid off when he successfully spotted a leopard for us. We were fortunate to see an impressive range of wildlife across Yala National Park. I totally recommend you stay at this accommodation.

Just everything. Really nice apartment, specially equipped for western turists, with hair dryer, toilet brush, drinking water, big room and bathroom, with big patio in front of the room, plus swimming pool. What else can you wish more. It was the best experience during my trip in Sri Lanka. Big bonus was also Janaka, resort manager who organized Safari in Yala for us.

Very nice owner with fantastic service. Best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. Nice room. The balcony is huge and has a really nice view of the river and wildlife.

If you’re going to Tissamaharama the Lavender Home Yala Safari is a must stay. The rooms are clean and very cute, with everything you’d need. The location is amazing, the view of the rice fields is incredible and you feel miles away from civilisation but you’re actually only a 10 minute walk away. Just make sure you bring insect repellent!! The host was amazing too, she was so lovely and so helpful. She organised a safari for us and it was for a very good price (the actual safari was really good too). We also needed transport to Dickwella as that was our next place and she helped organise this for a very reasonable price. She is also an amazing cook and made the nicest dinners and breakfast for us. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were on hand to provide suggestions on local tours without being pushy. They also went out of their way to make us egg hoppers one day which we were really grateful for. The villa is new and really well furnished with super comfy beds and pillows.
