Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel, it was Christmas and the owners and staff organized and incredible production. In addition, when we came back from the Safari we asked for a late check out and the management was kind enough to give it to us.

We absolutely loved it here, we’ve even got a room upgrade when we arrived (thank you!!). Everyone is really nice and the food is just amazing, make sure to get your dinner here. The view to the fields & the lake is absolutely amazing! You can also rent bikes to get to the city.

We had the best stay at Black Panther! Nalin is the kindest person ever and so helpful with everything! He took us around and spotted some super nice birds. He was really knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about them. He also helped with organizing a safari to Yala where we had a great time :) Also the rest of the family is so nice and the dinner we had was absolutely delicious, one of the best we had so far! The rooms are further really spacious and clean, felt really comfortable! We will definitely come back!

The best accommodation we've stayed at in Sri Lanka. A very spacious room and a beautiful bathroom. But the best thing is the terraces overlooking the river. The hosts are very friendly and helped us book the safari and provide other information we requested. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Wery good location. Rooms are clean and comfy. Amazing view from terrace to the rice fields. Owners are very positive, welcoming and service oriented. Good comunication and clear instrucitions in all. We ordered safari through appartment owners and it was a perfect service - on time, good car and good driver. Price corresponds to the market price. There is possibility to order a lunch and dinner - my advice - use this offer, as it was delicios and for reasonable price.
