Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. You can see somany peacocks around the hotel. Very mind relax. You dont feel any stress. Their meel also very good vilage type. Rooms comfortable excellent .like 5* hotel.

We had a wonderful dinner at the hotel, it was Christmas and the owners and staff organized and incredible production. In addition, when we came back from the Safari we asked for a late check out and the management was kind enough to give it to us.

Wow, what a find Art Yala boutique resort is. If you want a a break away from the hustle and bustle of every day life this is the place to come.It’s hard to explain how beautiful and tranquil the view is from this fabulous resorts garden looking across the lake to the distant Buddhist temple, perfect for morning yoga. Madu the resort owner and his wonderful staff Nisal, Mahesh, Sampath and the outstanding Chef Indika looked after us like family. The fruit and tasty cooked food for dinner is all local produce. The rooms are very modern and spacious with all mod cons required. For a trip to the National Reserve Safari park. Madu can arrange everything for a full day or half day safari. We stayed at My Resort Yala for one night and were completely satisfied. The team is very friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and well equipped with everything you need, including a kettle with coffee and tea, a fridge, and a hairdryer. Everything was also very clean. We also booked our safari to Yala National Park through the resort (Janaka Safari) and had a great experience.

We visited Black Panther Yala to have a place to stay while visiting Yala national park, but what we got was so much more. The host Nalin is an increadiable host. Its important for him that you have the best experience possibel and you feel that when staying at black panther yala. Nalin showed us what we could do in Thissamahara and we got to use bikes to go on a tour to see this beutiful area. You should not miss out on taking some time to take a look. Nalin also arranged our visit to Yala national park. The guide and option he recommended for us was perfekt. The facilities are very clean and I was very comfortabel during my whole stay. Also, the food was delicious! Homemade sri lankan food and as good as it comes. We also got to know about the foods and its ingredians which was very appreciated You wont find a more priceworthy option when visiting the nationalpark or Thissamahara. I recomend it wholeheartily.

We had great experience so far with Sri Lankan hospitality but Elegant Lake House took it to another level. The host was more than welcoming and kind to us and even gave us an excellent tour of the village and took us to the famous fruit bat migration place. They organized an excelent safari tour for us and made us a breakfast to take to safari at 4:30 in the morning. The room was great and comfortable with a beautifull view of the garden. Thank you Elegant Lake House for raising the bar of hospitality for us and making our stay more interesting.

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfasts were delicious, and they even went above and beyond by assisting with transportation, arranging a safari, and taking me bird watching. Highly recommended!
