We made a last-minute booking and were lucky to get the Sky Villa – a true gem and hidden treasure! The view was absolutely breathtaking, with a private jacuzzi pool and an unbeatable sense of privacy. The service was exceptional, with staff operating at the highest level of professionalism. Totally worth the price. The feeling of being on top of a giant rock is indescribable – truly unique! The room was brand new, and we learned the hotel only opened three months ago. You definitely won’t regret staying here!

Oh this place like from fairytale! We love it so much! And best hotel on the river to see the beauty from nature and elephants. Big specious rooms, beautiful views and great service from the staff. Thank you for all , definitely recommend!

Omg what an absolute gem, our favourite accommodation of the whole trip, we had a balcony view of the street so we could see the elephants walking by to go to the river, the room was amazing, big comfy bed, good air con, massive bathroom and it was so spacious. Didn't try the food but you can dine on a balcony overlooking the street also. Staff are really nice as well, there were some young lads working there this week they helped us with our bags and directions to our next destination, can't remember there names but they are a credit to the business

Perfect stay at Cafe Pinnalanda, very kind staff, always available to help. Great breakfast as well. Fantastic location just in front of the Pinnalawa Elephant orphanage.

The location to town was amazing. We had the honeymoon cottage with private pool, and there was so much outdoor space. We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary, staff could not have been nicer, and we were presented with a cake for the occasion, which was very touching gesture. Air con good, fan great, international channels on tv, fantastic. The food in the restaurant was brilliant. We had two dinners and a breakfast there. Both pools were gorgeous! No alcohol in the bar, but you can bring your own, so be sure to bring yours to town. There is no wine shop in Pinnawala, but you can tuk tuk to the next town. Cargills has ice and wine/beer. We were celebrating.
