We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our visit special. They even arranged delicious dinners for us, organized tuk-tuk rides, and showed us their beautiful Ayurvedic garden where we enjoyed a relaxing massage and discovered some excellent natural products. The local breakfast was also very tasty and a perfect start to the day. We truly felt cared for and can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and authentic experience.

Our stay was absolut fantastic. 🌟Starting with a warm welcome, a fresh juice and lots of explanation how to make the best of our time in Rock Garden Villas and the surrounding. We stayed only a night in the sky villa ten. I suggest a stay of minimum two days to relax and to take in the view. You can enjoy your own private pool with jets, which made my husband not to come out of it. It feels like swimming at the roof top of the world. Breathtaking sunset and a delicious dinner served at your own terrace. So you don’t have to leave your paradise. The bathroom was clean and build into the rocks, very special. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the sheets very good quality. The entire room was flooded by light , but nice cool and with sunblocking curtains for a good night sleep. I would suggest that room to everyone who want to endulge, relax and appreciates the beauty of in and outside. The friendly helpful staff members will do everything to make your stay unforgettable . 💛

The property was beautiful and so were the surroundings! Very spacious room with spectacular views. Hosts extremely friendly and breakfast and dinner was delicious!

We were here for the second time and would gladly come back. Very nice large rooms. Delicious breakfast. You can see the elephants bathing from the pool. Even from the breakfast table. An ideal hotel to end a trip to Sri Lanka. Special thanks to Jude. As last year, he is always friendly, helpful, and knows what his guests want. We will gladly come back! Amazing hotel, we were thrilled, only positive emotions! Very clean and beautiful, cozy room, magnificent views of the river and elephants! We would like to thank all the staff who warmly welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and provided us with a free room to relax until our room was ready, as we arrived earlier than our check-in time. The dinner was hearty and delicious, besides, it was a surprise to hear live guitar playing from an employee, it was very atmospheric! We would like to convey our special thanks to the manager in a beautiful sari, who helped us to settle in, and also helped us with the transfer and facilitated our route: Thank you from the bottom of my heart, we reached Unawatuna, thank you!

I love the kind attention and support given, even I arrived late and they were so willing to wait for me and they guided me. The location was perfect just some steps away from the river the elephants take their daily baths.

Perfect stay at Cafe Pinnalanda, very kind staff, always available to help. Great breakfast as well. Fantastic location just in front of the Pinnalawa Elephant orphanage.

Wonderful experience. Elephants at your fingertips. The air-conditioned rooms are comfortable, with a large terrace overlooking the river. Good breakfast in the neighboring hotel. Everything is great, I recommend it.
