We had a lovely stay at Jay’s. He is a great host and his sister is an excellent chef. They made us a great dinner and breakfast with vegetables from their own garden. We often read ‘the best curry’ in many reviews, but I can truly say that this where the best meals we had during our trip in Sri Lanka (and we had many good meals).

The House is located in wonderful garden full of herbs and seasoning trees surrounded by the jungle. The hosts are really warm and helpful people. We took part in cooking demonstration which was the best choice ever (kids were impressed!). We were collecting spices first, they told us very interesting information about all the plants, we helped in preparing the food, watching how to make traditional Sri Lankan food and finally ate it with taste, because it was one of the best meal we had during our stay in Sri Lanka. The rooms are very clean and spacious. When you take outside shower you feel so close to nature! Highly recommended!

I really loved the natural environment and peaceful beauty of this place. The river near the resort is amazing – just a one-minute walk, perfect for relaxing and enjoying water activities with family. We had a great time playing in the river and it really helped us refresh our minds. The property owner is very kind and caring. He made sure everything was arranged based on our requests and took good care of us throughout the stay. The price is very reasonable and truly worth the money. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable experience with my family.

We had some of our favourite days in sri lanka here! The family are super warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make sure we had a great time, cooking delicious and generous homemade meals, picking us homegrown fruits to try and sharing laughs :) The room is really airy and spacious, nice big bed and the view from the room and balcony of the mountain is absolutely stunning! You see so many birds as well its lovely to just sit there. It's a perfect stop off point between dambulla and Kandy. Lovely lake walk right on the doorstep woth some ancient ruins and a mountain. The location is so calm and peaceful.

The property is absolutely stunning!! designed by Supun the owner and built with input from his father who was an engineer! The view from the room is honestly one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. The starry night sky and beautiful sunrise were magical. So many details to take in! The common area is relaxing and welcoming. Supun is incredibly kind and took us to see the local waterfall and rice fields, pointing out wildlife and sharing knowledge along the way. He helped us arrange a tuk tuk to get to viewpoints and entrances to walks/hikes. We loved being somewhere more rural and away from the typical tourist route. A true highlight of our trip so far, we would highly recommend staying here.

This place was faraway from crowd for those who like to enjoy the calmest most poetic atmosphere. Though it was only 30 minutes away from Sigirya Rock which I really recommend visiting early in the morning. Mr. Ravi was very welcoming and generously kind and caring with two lovely little girls and his beautiful wife helping him. He served us many delicious plates, and suggested for us to go on a walk to the nearby lake and come back through the forest. I can’t describe how romantic and poetic the lake was, surrounded by the beautiful rice farms. The villa was huge and had an outdoor bathroom which gives a special feeling taking a bath in the nature.
