Everything here is exactly as described. The pool is awesome and gets sun from around 8:30am until about 5:00pm, and there are plenty of deck chairs to relax on. There are also really well-positioned trees around the pool area that provide shade over certain deck chairs, giving you the option to be either in the sun or in the shade throughout the day by the pool. I’ve seen some reviews where people seemed unhappy about certain things, but to me it felt like the expectations were closer to the level of service you might expect from a 4–5 star Western hotel. This is Sri Lanka, and you’re not paying Western hotel prices. From our experience, the staff are incredibly helpful — you just have to ask if you need something. They can’t read your mind, but they genuinely do their best to help. For example, the internet in our room wasn’t great at first, so we asked and they brought us an internet extender. We needed to buy a screw and they told us exactly where the shop was. When we asked for more toilet paper, they brought it straight away. Every time we needed something, they were happy to help. The room was also very clean and very practical. Overall we had a really great stay and would definitely come back.

We loved the location and the whole environment at the hotel was amazing. The food was lovely and the stuff were even better. The boys who worked there treated us like their own family and we felt so comfortable the whole time we stayed there. We saw Antony Janith Pasindu And Malith everyday and they were the kindest people iv seen in any hotel I have stayed at before. All the other stuff were also lovely and kind. The waves from the sea was so relaxing and we can hear from our room.

Really-really great hotel and great staff! We had a huge balcony with sunbeds overlooking the sea and the sunsets from balcony were amazing. The location of the hotel is next to best fish restaurants, so if you are into surfing or just chilling by the sea, this modern hotel is perfect solution. Definitely the highest standard of hotels that we experienced in Sri Lanka. We enjoyed the pool, the food, location, views and staff! Thank you! 🙏 Oh, and beds had blankets, which turned out to be very rare in Sri Lanka.
