La ubicació al mig del parc natural. Nosaltres no estem en suficient forma per fer excursions, però l'allotjament és un punt fort per qui vulgui fer excursions. Vàrem participar en la celebració de la vigília de Sant Joan (solstici d'estiu), que va organitzar el personal de l'hotel, a l'estil totalment tradicional de Letònia, va estar molt bé.
