I was greeted by the host who spoke very good English. The place is very quirky and you could actually spend a day just looking at all the curio that has been collected. The room I stayed in was very roomy. Downstairs there is a very well equipped kitchen and a large dining room that you are free to use. Eating in your room is not permitted ( say for the odd cookie). Very close to the river and a promenade along the river bank where you can relax and soak up the peaceful views. Pharmacy next door with a convenience store over the road. I recommend staying here. Definitely value for money.

We came from Ireland to visit my wife's family. This hotel was a short walk from them. The room was exactly what we ordered. There were no staff except housekeeping but We were able to communicate to the owner via sms when we needed something and they would send it over.

Beautiful room design, air conditioning and fridge in the room, nice river view, smoking area is next to the rooms and it’s beautiful is well, 2 pianos in corridors and lots of pictures on the walls. Shower is perfect.
