So quiet - a real peaceful haven. We arrived as most of the lunch guests had left. We enjoyed the wine tasting menu on the evening, in front of a beautiful roaring fire - most welcome, as the temperature dips drastically after sunset in January! Great rooms, with hot showers and beautiful smelling toiletries.

Essaouira Lodge is like a private berbere village, located 12 km from Essaouira. Just a 15-minute drive from the beach, it offers a swimming pool, hammam and indoor heated pool.

Beautiful lodge. Lovely pool and gardens. Quiet location, very peaceful. House beautifully and tastefully decorated. Loved the peacocks and cats. The free bus to Essouira is very useful.

Super recommend, the Riad is located in a very quiet area and the owners made us feel at home. The place is very clean and the meals amazing. From the terrace you can enjoy a breathtaking view for the sunset.

Overall it was nice. The host was waiting with the keys, good contact via Whatsap. The villa itself was fine, nice pool, quiet. Quite a lot of space inside, kitchen equipment ok, a bit of unpleasant smells from the bathrooms, unfortunately cold water, in the shower, enough for 2-3 people, then cold. Quite a long way to the shop or town. I do not recommend the breakfast option - nothing special for the money the host offered. Overall, a nice trip with friends, a facility worth recommending - but with some drawbacks, but for 2-3 days it is OK.

This is not a usual hotel. Its more like being invited to someone. The someone is Gerald with fascinating stories from a rich life as photographer in fashion and also as an artist. The place is filled with paintings and pictures. Gerald is really open and nice. When I didnt have food for the evening of course he invited me for dinner ☺️. The garden with the pool is also very nice. I will remember this place💛

Perfect for a relaxing stay! The house is really an oasis of peace and tranquility, and you have it all to yourself. It is very spacious and has a huge garden, as well as several patios and a lovely, big pool. Communication with the owner is quick and easy, and that is important, especially for guests who haven't rented a car. One thing we really loved is that you can also use the services of a cook - we had two meals prepared by her, and they were amazing and reasonably priced. This can be very useful, as there are no restaurants close by. Just tell the owner in advance!
