Bitola is a beautiful historic city (Heraclea) with plenty of archaeological places to visit. My visit had to be brief, hence I missed all of them. At night, there are very good restaurants to relax, some with music.

Bitola is an old town with a lot of history.

Bitola is an old town with a lot of history. The center is tightly packed with old buildings with beautiful architecture. It is very easy to walk to all sites worth visiting. There is also an important archeological site nearby. It is a small town with a lot of unique vibe, full cafes and a lot of people on the main pedestrian street called Broadway :)

There is so much things that you can see like Museum,...

There is so much things that you can see like Museum, Heraklea, the river Dragor, City Park, Churhcs, Mall and everything is on 10 - 15 minutes distanance by walk. Such a good food, hospitality people.

The city of Bitola is beautiful, especially at night.

The city of Bitola is beautiful, especially at night. But the parking for tourists is really terrible due to SMS paying system, which makes the tourists unable to pay for the parking spot. You have to ask some local to pay it for you.

I wish I could come back to Bitola for one of its festivals.

I wish I could come back to Bitola for one of its festivals. Make sure you visit St. Dimitri Basilica which has the largest iconostas on the Balkan peninsula. From May on you can also see the mosaics in the antique Heraklea half an hour walk from the centre. I was only able to visit the ruins and the amphitheatre, but it is worth the walk.

Born there and first time back in 74 years. Walked a lot, retracing my early childhood years’ steps!!! Nostalgic indeed!! Easy to go day trips to different towns/places. Amazing scenery. Saint Naum’s Monastery is a definite must to see. It’s 30kms from Ohrid. We took a private driver/taxi for the day and he was amazing and explained everything for us. There are also daily buses for day trips, really cheap! The Capital is Skopje where we went by bus and stayed for 3 days! Oh my goodness. Must see!! We were in awe. Trip will not disappoint

Our stay at Mocca Apartment was absolutely perfect. The apartment is stylish, spotless, and very comfortable, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The location is excellent – just a few minutes’ walk to Širok Sokak and the Old Bazaar, yet the area is quiet and peaceful. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the host was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed every moment and would gladly return. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the city.

A hotel near Bitola, set in beautiful surroundings. We had a triple room that wasn’t particularly clean and was rather small and uncomfortable. Fortunately, we only stayed here for one night. The restaurant is okay but fairly ordinary: pizza, pasta, and very few local dishes. Breakfast was also quite basic and not particularly good. The staff are friendly and helpful, but it’s clear that cleanliness standards are not being properly maintained.

The food in the restaurant was excellent, the same breakfast was according to the menu, but very abundant, you can't eat everything, all praise for the food. the rooms were clean and very well arranged. The hotel is in the center of all events in Bitola. Anita, who works in the bar and at the reception, is a very kind person. much praise for her.

Lovely, cozy apartment in a perfect location—just a short walk from Širok Sokak and the main attractions. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend, and we will definitely stay here again!
