Our stay was perfect. The house itself is furnished with taste. We found anything we need. The host is incredibly helpful and kind! This place has a soul, we felt like at our relatives home :) And of course, the breakfasts are the best, with local and homemade products! The localization is good for the people who are not afraid of 15-20 minute walk to the (very nice) beach or restaurants. But you will find a food store and a bus stop just two steps from the hotel. Besides there are taxi available. Hiiiighly recommend this place!

Xaghra was a larger village than I’d expected.
Xaghra was a larger village than I’d expected. Plenty of cafes, shops, restaurants, and various attractions. I’m fascinated by ancient sites. So Ggantija temple was my main reason for staying nearby, and this didn’t disappoint, with really useful Visitor Centre, helpful guides & loads of information. Also near to a brilliant beach, Ramla Bay, and plenty of buses - e.g. hourly to Victoria, from where you can get around the whole island.

We have stayed in Xaghra every time we visit Gozo. The place is very calm and relaxing, the church is beautiful. There is very good choice of bars and restaurants for everyone's taste. The local people are very friendly. It is central for traveling around the island, 15-20 minutes to everywhere.

Xaghra is a unique very historic (least to mention the megalithic temples) and it is a peaceful place. Close to the best swimming bays, and close to everything (anyway, Gozo is a very small island). The very good traditional restaurants and bars together with the helpful people, make Xaghra a place I want to be again. The only down side of the story is, that like most of all other places, the construction developers are ruining its beauty.

At Xaghra one can find Ggantija Temples, one of the best archaeological temples on the Maltese Islands. Very near there is Ta' Kola Windmill. The beautiful Ramla Bay is very near. One can also have a relaxing meal at the village town square.

Xaghra is a picturesque village, typically Gozitan with a homely village square. Anywhere in Xaghra you are just a few minutes away from all amenities including a very good coffee shop and several very good restaurants. I stayed in Xaghra before and would definitely stay there again.

The location was just perfect: close to Ramla Bay, and Marsalforn. The village of Xagħra was beautiful too. Very rich in culture and heritage. Xagħra is home to the Ġgantija Temples, a designated UN World Heritage site. Apart from the location, the accommodation at Ta' Karkar B&B was clean, and the breakfast was good. More importantly, the host, Mr. Tony, was very welcoming, and he made us feel right at home.
