We went on holiday to a tropical island, so the goal was never to spend too much time at the place we booked at. However, the time that we did spend there was GREAT, the owner of the property and his staff are truly salt of the earth human beings, they went above and beyond to look after our every need. They assisted in putting together a beautiful local wedding form myself and my wife after our arrangements fell through due to issues with the ongoing war in the middle east. On top of that, in the last couple of days of our holiday, my daughter fell ill with a virus. The owners of the establishment were caring and compassionate, they were always checking in on us and assisting with transport to and from the hospital/ while happily going out of their way to look after us. Nothing better in this world than good, caring human beings. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay at Eco Palm Mathivieri. Abdullah, the host,provided a 5 star service. We have never felt more looked after. He organised our pick ups, drop offs, excursions, even external speed boats to get from and to Male. The accommodation was beautiful and tasteful. Mathivieri island is breathtaking. Thank you for having us. We are hoping to come back in the future!

As a solo female traveller I'm always concerned about my safety. This place made me feel safe and valued. Warm and humble staff. Took care of me. I really felt nice here. The island is very cute . Still raw and untouched. I'm glad I could visit it at the right time.

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at Velana Vibes on Mathiveri. Although our flight delay caused us to miss the last boat, the host Munzir kindly arranged a night in Malé at his own expense and offered to cover taxi costs – a truly generous gesture. On the island, his assistant Imma took great care of us throughout the stay – from preparing delicious breakfasts to organizing our return transfer and even lending umbrellas during rain. The guesthouse is modern, very clean, and well maintained. Our room was spacious, air-conditioned, with a private bathroom and daily cleaning. There’s a lovely shaded lounge/dining area, free use of a washing machine and a drinking water dispenser – thoughtful extras that made a big difference. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk to the bikini beach, local shops, and restaurants. When we were briefly stranded on a picnic island due to a storm, Imma quickly arranged a boat to bring us back. The hosts also offered a short buggy tour around the island to introduce key spots. They provide a variety of excursions and activities too. Overall, Velana Vibes was an excellent choice – friendly hosts, great service, and a peaceful island setting. Thank you Munzir and Imma – we hope to come back!

Brand new hotel, very clean, beautiful and comfortable rooms. The location is perfect, but the best part of this place is definitely the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and genuinely caring. They made us feel not like guests, but like friends visiting the island. The team was always ready to help, answer questions and make our stay special. You can really feel how much love and effort they put into this hotel. One of the warmest and most memorable hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
