The best part was the service. Sanjay, the manager, was so kind and helpful. He organized everything for us and always gave the best recommendations and deals. He made sure we felt at home the whole time.

United KingdomLoved everything about kuredhi view, it's a great location very short distance to the bikkin beach, rooms clean, spacious air con good! But most of all it's a family run business and you really get the feel for this as a solo traveller its so nice for the staff to be interested in what i would like to do on the island (very helpful for booking tours) , extremely friendly staff nothing to much trouble and a keen interest on how my days going.

The area in the hotel is nice and shaded so you can do some work or read a book, for sun you can sit on the beach👌🏽

NetherlandsThe host Jan made our stay incredible. He reached out beforehand through whatsapp, picked us up at the port and helped us with everything we needed during our stay. He was like a friend to us! The room was super nice, clean and comfortable. We also loved the bikes which allowed us to roam the island freely. We really loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

QatarWhen I was checking the reviews before booking I saw one comment saying: " I have travelled to many places and been in so many hotels and B&Bs, but never had a better host"... I felt the comment was excessive, but when I met the team in Thulusdhoo, I can only confirm the same. We have known here the best hosts we ever had...
More than simple hosts, they were truly and warmly welcoming us, looking after our needs but without being ever-present or violating our privacy, advising us and getting the best options and clearly not doing it with a financial perspective (they've offered us twice a great and free dinner) but simply because they love their island and love what they're doing.
Location wise, it's simply perfect.. cleanliness is irreproachable, and best possible value.
I think this opinion is shared by many other clients since we've met more than one who are back to the same island and same hotel.. we're also definitely planning to return...

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

The beach is beautiful.
The beach is beautiful. I´m afraid it would be too crowded in a couple of years as the contruction of new buildings on the island is massive.
Would be nice to remove the hakenkreuz that is sprayed on the wall in the harbor. Not a nice welcome sign for tourists.

I would recommend Thulusdhoo as a holiday destination for a beach holiday for a few days only. It's going to get boring quickly. But as a diving destination and as an introduction to the Maldives, Thulusdhoo has my absolute recommendation.
There are numerous hotels and restaurants on the island. You really have plenty of choice.
You should take enough US dollars with you as a means of payment. Euros are also fine. Credit cards are only accepted to a limited extent.
The inhabitants of the island are very friendly.

Thulusdhoo is a fantastic local island, we stayed 16 nights and loved the choice of places to eat and things to do, although we were planning on mainly spending time relaxing on the beach and in the water.

This island is perfect if you are looking for a genuine...
This island is perfect if you are looking for a genuine Maldivian experience. It offers perfect tropical beaches, insane turquoise waters, and great surfing for those who surf. My ten year old and I used a stand up paddle board to explore while my husband surfed and in the evenings we would walk the charming sandy "roads" of the village and try out the incredible local restaurants.
Utterly safe and peaceful, we loved exploring.
Our guest house, Iru, was a dream! We went on the snorkeling excursions which were outstanding and a Must Do! Like snorkeling in an aquarium!!!
The locals were friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to be on holiday without the constant sales pitches so often experienced in other places.
We will definitely be back to Thulusdhoo!

Its inhabitted island with 1500 local citizens.
Its inhabitted island with 1500 local citizens. Its 5km in circuit - I run it.
its close to Male - 30min by speedboat - cost 25$/person.
Had no isuse with local people, all nice ot at minimum neutral.
Island has 2 bikini beaches, Dream Beach - the one close to sunset beach I enjoyed more. Water crystal clear, nice very gentle white sand.
on island several restaurants - you can find the one used also by locals and few more turist popular.
There is no reef but no issue to go for snorekling routes.
There is couple of bigger buildings in process to be build up - suppose more hotels.
Island is popular among surfers -but I do not surf so cant judge posibilities.
Locals could care more about the surroundings, general cleanliness could be far much better. Same as lack of garbage bins and recycling of plastic bottles.

I had an amazing stay at the Eden Blue. Our host Arushad was so amazing and kind and helped me out with every problem. The breakfast was delicious and also different every day which I loved. Also the Owner Ahmet is so polite and organised the transfer to the hotel which was great. I ended up extending my stay and got to know great people who also stayed in the Eden Blue. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is very nice, it’s comfortable to walk anywhere.

We enjoyed our stay at Samura. The staff is amazing and they do a great job, going the extra mile. The manager helped us with the transport to and from the hotel, he was there everyday ready to help us with any request starting with beach towels and free transport to the other beach. The room was big and cleaned everyday, and it has a nice view.
They also had a barbeque and we could enjoy your dinner outside, next to the ocean

Surf Deck is perfectly positioned. Very close to the main surf spot on the island, with a nice view in front and all services. Ikram was really very welcoming and friendly, always helpful. I would recommend the accommodation to anyone spending a surfing holiday in Thulusdhoo!

Very nice place, very central. Just 3 min on food from the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable! And the host Rafiq was very accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this place for staying in Thulusdhoo!
