The owners of Twin Palms are amazing! I have traveled a lot and it’s rare that you see such dedicated owners. At the time I traveled, Rafa was on sight, and he is very considerate, attentive, effective and reliable. Communication is easy and any slight point or question is answered and resolved within minutes! He’s a great manager. I stayed in both the beach house and surfhouse of twin palms! The whole team in both locations is kind, patient, understanding and polite. Special shoutouts to Sanil and Iman. Sanil organizes the daily trips in addition to assisting at the front desk and also helping run almost everything else at the beach house. The property is kept very clean. Iman prepares all meals and your taste buds are guaranteed to be satisfied; you really see the care he puts into his work. The beach house is all new with beautiful modern design; it was the perfect place to greet the new year where we also had a BBQ in the evening. You have a lot of space to enjoy in the common areas in case it rains, but most of the days you’re out on the beach. Watching the sunrises from the beach house is something else! The surfhouse is more inland (but really just a 2-4 minute walk) on the island and has a great communal atmosphere with a shared breakfast area and a cozy courtyard. There’s a corner store shop right across, so it’s very convenient to get fruits. In both properties, you get beach towels and all the necessities, as well as a breakfast daily! Overall, I had a great stay and as a solo traveler, I never lonely and everyone was very open and kind. You see and feel the soul and care the team puts daily into running Twin Palms.

I stayed at few places and seen ever more on the Island during my stay. This one is the best by far. Its very new and well made. The materials are high quality. Location is great. Bed is very comfortable, and pillows as well. They provided 4 pillows. The bedsheets and pillows seem new. Nice and clean for aleeping! Everything was very clean, I felt like at home. No other places Iv stayed were this clean. The guys keep the room clean on my request, bring water and anything you like. Absy and Novi and the two guys take great care of you, make sure you have anything you need. The prepare any meal for you and its tasty. Further more the took care for me like family when I was sick for few days, even took me to the doctor two times! This is my favorite place to stay on the island! One big happy family 🫶

One of the greatest stays we have ever had with the most caring people who made the stay incredible. Abu, the amazing house manager scheduled our boat transfer from the airport, met us at the dock and arranged for the short buggy ride to the house. Breakfast was a fresh mix of western breakfast and local delights with coffee, tea, water and juice. Abu took us around the island our first morning showing us places and things to do/ eat and sharing about his wonderful country. The water on the island is supplied by Coke and was a welcome change after being in Bali prior. The island is BEAUTIFUL with the best beaches and sand you will likely ever see. It is a very local island and you can walk the whole island in about 20 minutes. There is no booze and bikinis are only allowed on certain beaches to uphold their customs and cultures.. an insignificant price to pay to experience their culture. My kids played tag with the local kids after their school day and we enjoyed watching people surf at the Coke surf break. Abu scheduled an incredible snorkel and sand bank tour one morning with a local guide. We enjoyed a couple rain storms with rainbows and the huge terrace was so nice to look out at from our bed. The beds were comfy and they always made sure to check how we were doing. We had dinner one night from their kitchen and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. When we had to leave, Abu took us to the dock again and made sure we got off to the boat safely and checked on us once we got back to Male. We were all so sad and my kids cried because they were going to miss Abu. Literally, one of the best humans we have ever met. Don't hesitate to book this place and visit this island. Also, eat at indulge.. I think we ate there four times when we were there.

The guys working there are super nice and also the owner! Is the second time for me going to Eden Blue and I would recommend everyone to go there! Also with the accommodation bicycles are available to move around the island (anyway is close to everything walking distance). Apart from that the breakfast is really nice and the price is completely worth it for the quality! Also they managed to arrange for us the excursions like snorkelling, etc. which was very nice and you should ask them if you stay there. Thank you so much for everything! 🤗

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

The beach is beautiful.

The beach is beautiful. I´m afraid it would be too crowded in a couple of years as the contruction of new buildings on the island is massive. Would be nice to remove the hakenkreuz that is sprayed on the wall in the harbor. Not a nice welcome sign for tourists.

I would recommend Thulusdhoo as a holiday destination for a beach holiday for a few days only. It's going to get boring quickly. But as a diving destination and as an introduction to the Maldives, Thulusdhoo has my absolute recommendation. There are numerous hotels and restaurants on the island. You really have plenty of choice. You should take enough US dollars with you as a means of payment. Euros are also fine. Credit cards are only accepted to a limited extent. The inhabitants of the island are very friendly.

Thulusdhoo is a fantastic local island, we stayed 16 nights and loved the choice of places to eat and things to do, although we were planning on mainly spending time relaxing on the beach and in the water.

This island is perfect if you are looking for a genuine...

This island is perfect if you are looking for a genuine Maldivian experience. It offers perfect tropical beaches, insane turquoise waters, and great surfing for those who surf. My ten year old and I used a stand up paddle board to explore while my husband surfed and in the evenings we would walk the charming sandy "roads" of the village and try out the incredible local restaurants. Utterly safe and peaceful, we loved exploring. Our guest house, Iru, was a dream! We went on the snorkeling excursions which were outstanding and a Must Do! Like snorkeling in an aquarium!!! The locals were friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to be on holiday without the constant sales pitches so often experienced in other places. We will definitely be back to Thulusdhoo!

Very clean and spacious room and bathroom, including clothes rack for drying laundry. Great facilities - you could use the washing machine, fridge and cooking equipment in the kitchen for free at anytime. Habeeb (hotel manager) was very responsive whenever we needed anything.
