We really enjoyed our stay here! Our cabana (Aire) was very clean, with comfortable bed and very good shower pressure. We also liked ample storage space and thoughtful decorative touches. The whole property is very well maintained. However, what we liked the most was our host Reonaldo who was very attentive, responsive and friendly, making us instantly feeling "at home". Coming back from the "Dawn in the mangroves" tour with Guardianes de los manglares de Dzinintun (also highly recommended) he surprised us with a complimentary breakfast, which was highly appreciated.

I absolutely loved my stay here, Fernando is amazing and I felt instantly welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean, the beach area is gorgeous and the complimentary coffee each morning was a lovely addition. It's a quick walk into the main square, and Fernando has loads of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Only wish I could have stayed longer!

The beach club was very nice. The staff was friendly and overall we had a great experience. We booked a full body massage and it was private in our room. The beach itself is very nice. The drinks and food are bit expensive.

Wonderful beachside cabana with beautiful views, quiet location but very accessible to town and restaurants. Rodrigo was a fantastic and attentive host , speaks good English and went above and beyond to help us with our needs. Spacious living room, fully equipped kitchenette, and comfortable bed. A humongous tv, good WiFi, and extra niceties like coffee, wine, and bottled water. Even a jetted tub and the best shower I’ve experienced in years!

The host was so friendly and welcoming. He has a tuk tuk and drove us into the centre for 10 pesos a person. The host gave us tips on different tours within the area and restaurant recommendations. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, glad there was air con. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and laying in the hammock. The back gate opens onto the beach. Front gate opens onto the main street with a shop within walking distance - also possible to walk to the centre.

Loved of course the reserve, observing the flamingoes and other birds, crocos, kayaking, walking and swimming in the beach. The bioluminiscent plancton in the beach during the night. The little fishing town vibe.

Nice little town and a lot of restaurants. Not a lot to do. It wasn't high season for Flamingos, which is the big attraction in Celestun. We had some of the best coco shrimp ever though! Los Pampanos.

We went on the 2-3 hour tour through the mango groves in a small flat-bottomed boat, which could take only up to three people. No other tourists scheduled so as to protect the birds. Incredible variety of birds—we saw more than a dozen species and after coming out of the Mangrove forest, we floated through a vast shallow water lake with large flocks of snowy egrets and others. The guide was part of an ecological association responsible for completely restoring the mango forest which had completely disappeared 20 years ago. Loved the small quiet safe little village and the beach!!

Lots of beach activities. restaurants where you can sit with your feet in the sand and enjoy the view of the sea. Great spot for bird watching and nature touring. There are many varieties of interesting places to explore. Celestun people are super friendly and helpful. I personally recommend David Bacab as a tour guide. He lives in Celestún and is very knowledgable. Visit him at Casa Bacab coffee shop.

I'm a birder, so experiencing the boat trip to see the Amerian Flamingos was unforgettable for me (and all the other birds of the Celestun area!!!) Also, Celestun faces west across the Gulf of Mexico, so the sunsets are beautiful. The town is an amazing cultural experience too. The people are wonderful. The LONG stretch of beach is quiet and clean. Motor taxis are everywhere if you don't have a car. See David at the coffee shop Casa Bacab for remarkable guided birding.

My family stayed here for 2 nights during a trip to Yucatan, and the suite was perfect for us and our 4 year old (he slept on the pull out couch). Everything was very clean and the people were very friendly. There weren't many restaurants open in the immediate area during the week, but we found great food morning and evening at El Cafecito in the main square. Parking for our rental car was available on the street and was easy. Definitely recommend staying here if you're going to be in Celestun.

A lovely place to stay for a few nights - we weren't sure whether celestun would be for us, but the reviews for this place convinced us and we were extremely glad we came! The accomodation is very comfortable, a minute from the beach and the team working there are lovely. We didn't have a car, so got a taxi there from Merida and were offered free use of the bikes to get around. It was brilliant and we'd highly recommend!

Nice little room on the second floor of the house, from the balcony you have a view on the sea, it's just in front of the beach and you can easily walk to the center of Celestun. The relax chairs on the balcony were super comfortable ! Catalino was welcoming and we had good communication with the hosts
