Our bus had a delay so we were one hour late than our original schedule for arrival but the hotel saved us our room, the staff was really kind (it was 22:45 showed us to our room. the room was clean, smelled really nice. Loved!! the bathroom. We even get free water. On top of the building is terrace to just chill. Near city center- 5min walk. Around are the cafes,restaurants, shops,… ADO bus stop is just 10min walking distance. Definitely recommend for anyone who is in Valladolid!

There is an amazing healing sound bath session every morning inside the pool, which is a great start of the day and another aspect that makes this hotel really unique. The breakfast is delicious as well and the staff just lovely. I could go on and on listing why I really loved my stay, but I highly recommend you just check this place out yourself :).

I really enjoyed the visit to Casa de los venados and a couple of tiny museums we accidentally stumbled upon. Great food at the rooftop terrace of El Mesón del Marques. Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant downstairs, but we did not have time to try it. Nice zócalo in front of the cathedral. Easy to walk around the small city center. We also enjoyed the free, outdoor video show about the history of Valladolid.

Having studied in Vallaodlid Spain, I was very interested in spending time in Valladolid Mexico. We thoroughly enjoyed all that the city had to offer from shopping to eateries as well as some history. We especially enjoyed the Municipal market. Valladolid made a great hub for travel in the region as we enjoyed day trips out to Chichen Itza and EkBalam as well as a few cenotes. If you are looking for a more authentic Yucatan experience, with a little less of a tourist vibe like the coastal cities, I highly recommend this city. We found the people to be friendly and just enjoyed being a part of the city life for a few days.

Cute little town. Most of the attractions are within 1-3 km. Mainly around the main Square. I would only stay here 2-3 days maximum. Sidewalks are a BIG problem as they are not even. Most of the time you have to walk on the road. Feel sorry for the handicapped!!

Hotel Maria is perfectly located on the corner of the main square as you drive into Valladolid from most anywhere. It’s an older hotel with a fine restaurant with a park view that also has outside dining with a pool view, the property has a large landscaped pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful and you can’t beat the location & price. The property also has free on site parking, and has a very nice furnished terrace with a pool view for the second floor rooms.

The location is great and once you stepped into the boutique hotel, it feels so quiet. The owner and staff speak perfect English and are extremely helpful. Joel at the reception even helped me patiently with translation of ADO website (website only in Spanish), so I could book return tickets to Cancun the next day. Breakfast was great and served earlier to accommodate our early morning tour. Highly recommend and will stay here when in Valladolid.

Hotel Refugio41 is a little hidden oasis in Valladolid. From outside the front door it appears to be nothing much but inside it is lovely with only a few comfy rooms each with their own deck and hammock. Breakfasts were fabulous (choose the Mayan breakfast). But the best thing about the place is the staff. Jesus and Luis took such good care of us as did their cook (whose name I sadly forget). Service with a big smile every day!

Meson del Marques is an old hacienda located just in front of the main Central Park. it is NOT a boutique hotel—it has at least 30 rooms and operates a popular restaurant. Its location and hacienda-touches are probably its biggest selling point. Nice architecture and has a nice swimming pool.
