I am a bird watcher so I loved the garden setting. I also walked the road leading up to the mountain. The pool was big enough to swim in, not just dangle the legs over the edge. Breakfast offered choice and included fresh juice, fruit and coffee as well as the main. Local buses plus direct buses to Guadalajara pass in front of the hotel so it is easy to get around the area very cheaply.

Jocotepec is a small traditional Mexican town on the shores of Lake Chapala. There are some stores along the main highway. The central square in the town is classically Mexican, with some charm. The neighborhoods that comprise the town are old and rundown, and the housing we saw for residents reminds one that not all of us have beautiful homes, backyards and pools. You can learn a lot about how people live and have a better appreciation for your lot in life.

the property was more than excellent, lot better than any hotel for lot more reasonable price. Also the security of parking was great. Lots of parking spaces and super secure.. The only problem for me was to find the location, because the very small streets were find to find, especially for people who never been in Mexico before. Regardless the property was a great value for the price, super clean and really worthy. I do not believe any hotel around can match it. Thank you.

The hotel is really pretty! The room was really nice with comfortable beds! Pool, jacuzzi and restaurant were also nice. Overall would recommend for a night away from city life!
