United Statesgreat, walking distance to events and restaurants, great comfy suite, bed was nice, clean was excellent , Hot water big TVs and lotsa channels in English , free Breakfast was various offerings but i ordered from menu and it was very good for $5 liked the coffee , give you water you ask housemaids clean white towels were not scratchy.

I was told once I was there that like any other City, there...
I was told once I was there that like any other City, there are good areas and bad areas. I was also quite recommended to not go clubbing on the nights. Apart from that, during the day we went to restaurants and even walked on the streets and the food was great, and we didn't see or felt any danger.
I believe Matamoros is a place where you go to do what you need to do, stay a few days, and then come back. At least at this point in time.
We didn't visit it any beaches, we did try awesome seafood.

I have never encountered anything disturbing there. more druggies and tranients where i live than what i see walking around Matamoros . Street light in El Centro .and having street signs make it easy to find places . nice parks and historical places honoring Texas and US , Mexico relations over the centuries , Museums , Galleries and Murals and Art , The streets were clean.

Great Hotel - Close to the MX/USA Border, Secure, Clean, Very comfortable bed/pillows, excellent shower with plenty of hot water, Professional-Welcoming Staff. The breakfast included is not a full breakfast-Contenitial yet filling.

When I want to get out and do something new, I go to...
When I want to get out and do something new, I go to Matamoros to have real food and do few shopping at better prices. Everyone I met was very nice and polite. I have no complain about anything in Matamoros. It great to stay in the Zona Centro where you can probably walk to different places for shopping, drink, or eat.

Hotel is very convenient for Visa process. The location is great, it is close to the American Embassy and is enough far from the down town to avoid traffic and loud noises
