Amazing property, stylish, cozy details makes feel cozy. Very clean and beautiful views, especially from 2nd floor, where you get to see ocean from the bed. I really loves the area on the top floor with fully equiped kitchen, tables to eat and beautiful surroundings to enjoy view, even book shelf, some board game and binoculars were there. Loves the quality of everything in the house, e.g. bed linen was sooo nice and soft, tasty coffee, drinking water and very nice shampoo and shower gel! Seems like there was a lot of heart put into preparing the place for guests :)

Everything was perfect!! The setting, the property, the staff, the food, the amenities were all exceptional!! One of my new favourite places and definitely for my kids too!!! The entertainment staff especially Javuer and Aidee were the best!!! The Explorer Club staff were also utstanding! One thing that amazed le.was the quality of.the food.in general.for an all incluisve. I have been to.other Dreams Resorts and this is by far the best

The town is in development, so the road is not comfortable...

The town is in development, so the road is not comfortable to walk around but if we know it in advance we can prepare better with all things to make the stay times more enjoyable. The long soft sand beach is very nice to walk. We didn't swim there, so don't know if there are rocks under.

This is a very small town - great if you're looking for a...

This is a very small town - great if you're looking for a quiet beach break or are looking for a simple retirement haven. I was ready for this type of break as I'd just spent 9 nights in the hustle/bustle of Mexico City. If I were planning a winter get-away that didn't involve scuba diving, I would prefer something more the size of Puerto Vallarta downtown, where there's more to explore on foot, art galleries, wider range of restaurants and activities. Punta Mita is close enough to Puerto Vallarta you could make a day trip of it and have the best of both worlds. Bus ride to PV Centro is about 1 hour.

The area is great for a trip.

The area is great for a trip. You can have some relaxation on an uncrowded beach at one of the resorts or go to a more lively public beach. You can visit some of the beach towns for shopping and a more local vibe--or some people stay in hotels there for (I assume) more access to nightlife. Plus there are some great places to surf, snorkel, whale watch etc. I highly recommend renting an SUV so you can take yourself around--specifically Gecko is an excellent local rental company with transparent pricing and no surprise upcharges.

It is a nice small town with nice people.

It is a nice small town with nice people. The food is good, especially the seafood. There is not much to do but the tour to the Islas Marrietas and the Playa Escondida is a must, a very beautiful and unique experience.

The town itself has two options for dining.

The town itself has two options for dining. Overpriced food for the people in the compound as we called it (where all the very expensive hotels are, you are not allowed in unless you are staying there) or street food. The street food was amazing and highly recommended. Unless you are there to surf I would not go to this town. We drove to La Lancha surf break every day. It was perfect for us. But if you are going for a beach trip you are going to the wrong place.

the check in was terrible not after I reserved thru booking.com I was charge almost $3000.00 US dollars til they realized the hotel made a mistake I was refund back my money . the supplely the manager aka concierge service was terrible because for every question they did not have an answer the 24 hr room service no such thing because my 7am coffee tea I request only once it was delivered but that was after the fact that a roach was in our order of toast the VIP service no such thing at this resort because at every corner someone is trying to sell you a timeshare for you to keep coming to the resort who wants to that go to the same place every year very aggressive sale personal I have more but live and learn also this is not my first all inclusive resort Ive stayed at but this is my first dissatisfaction resort I've stayed at Eva 323-616-7216

Check in was smooth and easy. The lighting in the apartment was bright and lit up the rooms throughout the day. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We were travelling with our 1-year old and enjoyed running around the place and swimming in the pool. Location was within a few minutes to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
