Absolutely blown away by the service, exceptional staff and onsite breakfast which we looked forward to every day (i am now addicted to cafe de olla!). In particular Salvador was very friendly and helpful, but every staff member was wonderful. We would defo come back! The facilities were stunningly beautiful and it was close to the local markets.

Tranquil property in Mexican style and right at downtown of Tlaquepaque. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my late arrival. And even when breakfast was simple, it was abundant: big bowl of fresh fruit, coffee and bread.

Merchants from around Mexico come to this town to buy any handmade items you can think of. Do a little research and come prepared to ask where to go. Streets are usually one way because only two cars fits on the road. Bring a car, or a muscle man to carry all your shopping. Ceramics are big here, and ceramics are heavy, bring wheels. Afternoons are hot and city blocks are long, but there's ice cream and soda sold at every block it seems. Sidewalks are very narrow and cracked, unless you bring two muscle men, shopping in a wheelchair will be impossible. At night, the plaza is filled with food merchants that sell tacos, bread, toys, very charming. I felt completely safe during the day or night.
