I almost never give 10 out of 10, but hotel het Anker deserves it. For the price, there couldn't have been a better stay in de Cocksdorp. The village is small enough that it's in easy walking distance of everything major, and you can also walk to the lighthouse. The small single room was indeed small, but well designed and comfy. looking over the garden, the sun came in the window in the morning. I really liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and the hot water ran very quickly in the shower. Good quality towels and clean room. The breakfast was also fantastic: scrambled eggs and fried mushrooms/tomatoes cooked regularly by the staff, and tasty bread, rolls, croissants etc. Tea and coffee were free at all times in the lounge and other drinks available for a low price. The WiFi worked well and staff were friendly. Absolutely recommend!!!

The rooms were nice, big and clean. The facilities were great and they had free buffet for breakfast, with a great variety of things to eat and drink.

It’s ideal location, close to the beach, nice walks in the forest and to the shops and bars and restaurants. It’s cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent. They also have a restaurant for dining in the evening which menu looks very good.

Location is perfect, near the beach but also near to great restaurants and cool shopping streat. Awesome breakfast. Friendly people. Curious how it will be in the summer time; when I return

A great hotel, very nice and helpful staff, good organized. The room is large and spacious, the bathroom is also large and well equipped. There is a small indoor pool, large spaces for spending time in the lobbies, a kids area, table tennis, a pool table, an indoor chimney to stay in the evening. It is relatively close to the beach and also to the city centre. There is a bike rental shop within 5 min walk. The breakfast is awesome, really loved the variety and the quality of the products

We only stayed one night, but we found this location fantastic. Maarten and Belinda were exceptional hosts and the place is absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic, with great quality and a lovely selection. We would recommend it to anyone, particularly people interested in birdwatching like ourselves. The place is beautifully decorated with many artistic elements related to birds and the sea. It is a fantastic place and we hope to come back in the near future.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was smart, comfortable and clean. The restaurant is excellent - strongly recommend booking in advance because most other restaurants in town are lower quality. Ten minute walk through the dunes to the wonderful beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Beatrix very much. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet area, just next to the main street of the amazingly beautiful village of De Koog. The hotel itself is very elegant, cosy, and super clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back again one day!
