Beautiful ambience, great place to relax when raining. Lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast! Common rooms and breakfast room are great. Great for a winter getaway!! Excellent place to store bikes. Just a bit out of Amersfoort.

IT IS AN AMAZING ESTATE , YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN A FOREST. TREES, WATER, PATHS, BIRDS IT IS SO RELAXING. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, CLEAN, VERY MODERN WITH FLOOR TO CIELING WINDOWS OVERLOOKING THE GREEN TREE ENVIRONMENT. VERY TASTY BREAKFAST.

Accommodation was clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Parking available next to accommodation too was great. Host was very friendly and more than happy to help with any issues. Nationaal Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug nearby and great for cycling. Driebergen-Zeist station was within walking distance and has good access to stations in Utrecht and Amsterdam.

Over all ok. But the impression you have from the advert is of an old nostalgic hotel. But I ended up in tiny room. With the worse designed glass toilet door that serves no purpose other than to walk into. I had to close it as the extraction fan was running for ages. Restaurant staff and cleaners very pleasant. But the guy at the desk was a little frosty.

The hotel and its location is simply fabulous. The staff and their hospitality was heart warming. The forest around is so calming and beautiful. I would love to go back again. The breakfast opstions can be varied a bit time to time to make it more interesting for guests staying for more than a few days.
