Light and airy rooms, very clean. Quiet leafy surroundings. I liked the focus on eco and sustainable products in the bathroom. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lots of free parking space. Location is opposite a forest with many walking and cycling trails, yet very close to the town centre.

Kasteel Sterkenburg was a dream! We were made to feel at home straight away by our wonderful hosts. The Kasteel and it’s surroundings are nothing short of breathtaking. Inside, we were mesmerised by all the art and artifacts with plenty a good book to peruse. Breakfast was divine and nothing was too much trouble for our comedic and charismatic hosts. Great option when visiting Amsterdam, took me 35 min drive after a day in the city centre. Perfect. This hotel has everything you need, parking, bar, restaurant, excellent breakfast. Rooms are modern, super clean and bed was really comfortable. Highly recommended. Will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped for a family. One of the highlights was the sleeping arrangement for the kids—not a sofa bed, but actual single beds, which made a huge difference in comfort and quality of rest for everyone. It’s a thoughtful detail that families truly appreciate. Breakfast was another highlight: delicious, fresh, and with a great variety to suit all tastes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local specialties, every morning was a treat. It was an overall excellent experience, and we could definitely stay here again!

a beautiful complex, elegantly furnished, with lovely helpful staff, all set in lovely parkland. We were lucky in that, although this is mainly set up for business conferences, it was a public holiday and only a few other guests were staying there. Bliss.

IT IS AN AMAZING ESTATE , YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN A FOREST. TREES, WATER, PATHS, BIRDS IT IS SO RELAXING. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, CLEAN, VERY MODERN WITH FLOOR TO CIELING WINDOWS OVERLOOKING THE GREEN TREE ENVIRONMENT. VERY TASTY BREAKFAST.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of nature, bungalow type. Very nice rooms, cosy, eco-friendly, decorated with taste. We were traveling with our dog and the room was prepared accordingly, there was a dog pillow, bowls, even a little treat for him. Staff extremely helpful and nice. Good dinner in the hotel restaurant. Beautiful forest all around the hotel. We will be back!

Accommodation was clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Parking available next to accommodation too was great. Host was very friendly and more than happy to help with any issues. Nationaal Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug nearby and great for cycling. Driebergen-Zeist station was within walking distance and has good access to stations in Utrecht and Amsterdam.

The hotel and its location is simply fabulous. The staff and their hospitality was heart warming. The forest around is so calming and beautiful. I would love to go back again. The breakfast opstions can be varied a bit time to time to make it more interesting for guests staying for more than a few days.

Really nice hotel in the forest. Several buildings, so you might be lucky to live far from the road. Very quiet, clean and comfortable.
