This was a basic clean and very central hotel, we stayed here one night before we moved on to another hotel so I wanted something which was very good value for money and this was the place. People are complaining about the check in process and the lack of staff but this hotel was half the price of other hotels and they make it clear before booking what the check in process is. If you follow the instructions before it is really easy and I suppose if you don’t want to have everything automated you can choose another hotel and probably pay more for it! The room was small but perfectly adequate and it was right in the centre of Gouda, there is also free tea and coffee and a kitchen/laundry room. We enjoyed our stay in Gouda.

A lovely BnB in this beautiful town. We very much appreciated the friendly welcome and the excellent breakfast with possibly the best yoghurt and granola I have had in a very long time. If we are back in the neighbourhood we will definitely return. The location along the canal is great, the amenities are just right and the room is comfortable and welcoming. The perfect place for a short stay.

The studio was in a superb location, nearby the market, nearby parking. It was super easy to connect with the friendly magement who allowed us to drop our luggage early. And lastly the room and kitchen itself were very nicely decorated and the bed was super comfy. Literally all we could wish for.

As soon as you step through the threshold of THE APPLE TREE COTTAGE, time seems to stand still. Perfect location, the Het Koetshuis is so beautiful inside and outside - beautiful garden. The hosts are really kind and welcoming - they advised on what cheese we should buy and where. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Perfect place to stay and I hope to go back there in the future.

Delightful location right in the center of Gouda. And such a charming house! One thing to note: it's an old Dutch house, so access to the upper floors is by steep spiral stairs. This is not a complaint, just be aware that you'll have some climbing.
