The room was lange with a nice round table with 2 comfortable chairs in front of the window with a view of the water. The bathroom was excellent with rainshower. Great water pressure and shampoo conditioner cream etc heated mirror.The staff was exceptional, helpful, and friendly. It is one of the best places we ever stayed

Unique location, very central. The staff is great. The decoration in the hotel is historical and very original and all modern details are ‘in style’. Breakfast is very good. The best about this hotel is the location. Everything is within walking distance. We also loved to be able to reserve our own parking spot in a private parking. We felt pampered and privileged staying at this beautiful house.

Beautiful accommodation close to train station and main shopping and attractions. Host allowed us to keep baggage while we visited Keukenhof Gardens and use toilet facilities, recharge phones. So helpful. Only downside was noisy pub music across the road but it was Saturday night.

Everything is extremely good; the facilities are nice and comfortable, there is always water+lemon available for guests, rooms are very large and fully equipped, the breakfast is gorgeous, the location is perfect, near the central station and close to the center. This is my third times at Tulip and I look forward to be back again!

Fantastic location in the heart of beautiful Leiden. We loved being able to walk to sights, eating out and easy walk to train. Staff very help and diligent, breakfast of croissants, bread, meats and cheese plus an egg, fresh orange juice and coffee... yum. Room clean and comfortable.

The two brothers who run the hotel were 2 of the kindest people I have ever met. The hotel was lovely and its geographical situation was great. The brothers were extremely helpful and welcoming. If ever I return to Leiden, this is definitely where I would stay. Thanks to both of you for making everything so easy and pleasant.

Great location. Hotel with a history. It has everything standard hotel has yet it is somewhat special. Great breakfast.

We didn’t go in with high expectations after reading the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly let us checkin early. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had after 2 weeks cycling in the Netherlands. - 2 Aussie cyclists.
