Having stayed at this hotel before we had no hesitation in rebooking it. The location is perfect for us as family all live nearby in Hoogezand, Noordbroek and Groningen. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable beds which is important. The daily buffet breakfast certainly didn't disappoint and we used the restaurant on occasions including treating our family to a final farewell dinner. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful for\\rom the front, reception, restaurant staff, room service and ground staff.

The host was incredible. He made his best to make our stay comfortable. I didn’t have such a level of service for long time. The property was really clean and the building and restaurant were really cute. The location was perfect for us that we wanted to have nature in close proximity and no long trips for a town or city trips. I will definitely visit again!!!!

Absolutely wonderful and spacious room built in a modernized and largely re-build farm right on top of one of the infamous gas-extraction locations in the north of Groningen. Room is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, good taste and stylish, extremely clean, very modern bathroom. Amazing breakfast is served in the "tea-house", heated with an open hearth. Owners are very friendly, dedicated hosts, who go the extra mile for their guests. We will certainly come back!

The host served us hot soup when we arrived, which was amazing. Invited us to a campfire on second night. Lovely with the kids. But wait, that's nothing. We broke our car 30 minutes away from the BnB, with two kids, in the middle of nowhere. How many host would have kindly pick us at 21:00 ? They offered and did, without hesitating a second. Let us stayed extra hours the day after as we picked a replacement car from a garage. Best host in town, in the Netherlands, and probably on Earth ! <3

Beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful surroundings. Visited the museum in Heiligerlee twice. Very interesting, and I saw and learned a lot about the Eighty Years' War and the bell foundry. Bourtange on Sunday afternoon was pleasant and informative. Delfzijl, and cycling there is wonderful.

We booked Scheemda because of its proximity to Blauwestad,...

We booked Scheemda because of its proximity to Blauwestad, etc., did some bike tours there and drank coffee in the Brasserie Old School in Oosterwold, and also had very good meals there in the evenings.
