The thoughtful hospitality of the proprietors that are going out of their way to make your stay warm and pleasant, from a personal pickup at the station, to attending to you over breakfast. The food at Restaurant Flor'n was delicious with great ambience. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Couldn't have imagined a better stay.

RussiaThe hotel is located right next to the Vangsvatnet lake, and you could enjoy the breakfast with a beautiful view on the lake and mountains around. The breakfast itself was great, there was good variety of food (including the local specialties, e.g. berries or cheeses). I really liked the antique (in a good way) vibe of the hotel, it seemed that many of the rooms (the dining room, bar, resting rooms, etc.) had original (and very well maintained) furniture, paintings, etc. from the beginning of 20th century.

Greece1000% recommended. Charming location, comfortable rooms, awesome views from the balcony and more extras than could ever be required. The barbecue and fire pit on the balcony with a view, the sauna, hot tub, comfy couches, incredible fireplace.... if only we could just stay here longer! We will definitely be back in summer!
However, best of all was the host- lightning speed communication, friendliness and going way above and beyond. Jarand helped us by dropping extra bedsheets and collecting our suitcase delivery from the road below and storing it in our absence.
A gem of a place and person! A must in Voss!
