Great cabin in the forest! The cabin has been renovated nicely so still has log cabin features but modern kitchen and bathroom plus modern TV making it very comfortable if the weather is not so good outdoors. Handy location with only 10mins drive to Hellesylt where you can catch ferry to Geiranger. There are also plenty of nice walks in the surrounding hills which the host Kim Andre was very kind to tell us about. Would definitely stay again:)

This hostel is beautifully situated on the hill , over Hellesylt, with gorgeous view of the fjord's. Parking is by the hostel. There's a kitchen , fully equipped, spacy and with view. We have had a double room with private bath and it had even own entry from the terrace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There are kayaks for rent. Fair price-performance ratio.

I cant write 11 points, because booking only have 10. One word.: wonderfull. Everything was more than perfect. If you are looking for place to stay in Geiranger, dont miss the ability to try this hotel. Superior.

Without question, the view of the fjord from our room was the highlight of our stay in the hotel. The view of the fjord was beautiful and it was great to see the ships coming and going. Staff were friendly and food was good. The rooms airy and the heated floor in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise.

I think this is the place with the best host in the whole Geiranger. Local and personal tips, fun facts and advice come for free. The place itself is also very nice and you get a nice walk around when checking-in.

The view was amazing, and the room and everything was pretty clean! Everything is great! Want to come back again. There’s hiking trails very nearby as well.

I honestly don't think I've ever stayed in a place I felt more at home, was better looked after, or better fed! The food (dinner and breakfast) was really healthy and delicious - we absolutely loved it, and Hege Kristin was a great hostess and super company. Top marks! And good company from the other guests as well. This was certainly our kind of place to stay, and we'd want to stay again if we're ever back in the area.
