Great cabin in the forest! The cabin has been renovated nicely so still has log cabin features but modern kitchen and bathroom plus modern TV making it very comfortable if the weather is not so good outdoors. Handy location with only 10mins drive to Hellesylt where you can catch ferry to Geiranger. There are also plenty of nice walks in the surrounding hills which the host Kim Andre was very kind to tell us about. Would definitely stay again:)

This hostel is beautifully situated on the hill , over Hellesylt, with gorgeous view of the fjord's. Parking is by the hostel. There's a kitchen , fully equipped, spacy and with view. We have had a double room with private bath and it had even own entry from the terrace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There are kayaks for rent. Fair price-performance ratio.

highly recommended! place is just a few minutes out of geiranger town centre (which admittedly is already very quiet, but this was just the icing on the cake) and it's in a very quiet spot on its own, while being basically right beside the water's edge; room was amazing, views were phenomenal, hot tub was super relaxing, staff were amazing, price was really cheap when we went, and generally don't have any complaints other than that we couldn't stay any longer. absolutely recommend!

Very nice and beautiful house, near to the road. The host Mrs. Kristen is a perfect host. She prepare a great and delicious dinner and perfect breakfast in the morning. The room was wonderful in old norvegian style and so clean. If someone wants to feel the norvegian hospitality - have to visit this place.
