Great cabin in the forest! The cabin has been renovated nicely so still has log cabin features but modern kitchen and bathroom plus modern TV making it very comfortable if the weather is not so good outdoors. Handy location with only 10mins drive to Hellesylt where you can catch ferry to Geiranger. There are also plenty of nice walks in the surrounding hills which the host Kim Andre was very kind to tell us about. Would definitely stay again:)

This hostel is beautifully situated on the hill , over Hellesylt, with gorgeous view of the fjord's. Parking is by the hostel. There's a kitchen , fully equipped, spacy and with view. We have had a double room with private bath and it had even own entry from the terrace. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There are kayaks for rent. Fair price-performance ratio.

My late flight made me checked in late. I was starving but unfortunately the kitchen closed. Fortunately the bartender was very very nice and managed to get me a pizza. Really nice of him. Love everything about the stay.

The location was perfect, Only a few hundred meters away from the ferry. And you can enjoy the awesome view of Geiranger. The room was awesomely quiet, clean, warm and cozy. Also the owner was super hospitable, he shared a superb route for us to explore and the couple are really friendly. The living room and kitchen has floor heating system and the bedroom has a radiator. There is also a supermarket nearby and you can cook with the clean kitchen stuff.

What beautiful huts in a fabulous location. The huts are spacious and well laid out. The underfloor hearing in the bathroom was a treat.
