Very interesting place to learn something about the history of Norway. The place is today quite cozy and it feels like a big B&B. There is a small kitchen that can be used to cook (but note that the only grocery store around closes at 18). Breakfast was simple but good. The price includes the entrance to the museum, that you can visit even after closing hours. Remember to check for time of guided tours if you are interested.

Fantastic location, breakfast and staff, especially the housekeeping & the breakfast waiters who went out of their way to help me and have everything ready for me in advance . Even have face washers & a separate toaster for the gluten free bread!

Fantastic stay! We had a wonderful time. Cozy, clean room, excellent breakfast, and incredibly friendly staff. The sauna was a real highlight. Highly recommend!
