It's a very beautiful location in the nature. The rooms were simple but had an electric heating which was super handy for the one cold in August night we spent there.

This hostel is actually a student residence, which rooms are rented out to tourists in the summer. I had a large double room with plenty of space, which was nice. The bathroom was also larger than expected, but the shower was quite tight for some reason. Free parking was a nice perk. The hostel is in a quiet area. I noticed that it's wheelchair-friendly: ramp outside, elevator, and staircase lift for an intermediate floor. Downtown Mandal isn't very big so it's easy to walk anywhere, and they have maps (and good advice) at the front desk.

Everything was perfect. The view is great and the house was very new and clean. The towels smelled so good. The hosts provided everything a guest might need. But above all the view is amazing.
