Location was perfect for me as it was right across the harbour where the cruise ships and havila stop. I arrived at 22:40 in the evening there was staff at the reception constantly. Very friendly people. My room had a balcony and mini fridge. There was also an ironing board in a closet. Nice big bed in the room. From the bed you saw whatever cruise ship was docked at the moment or the water. Depending on your feelings this can be a good or bad thing. Molde isn't a big place but the location is very central. A good breakfast buffet that is served by the restaurant next door (you don't have to go outside to get there). You could hear people entering their rooms from the hallway etc, but you couldn't hear them when they were in their room so the noise insulation was good (at least in my room)

Very helpful staff, good breakfast and afternoon waffles. I had room with private bathroom facing the fjord and the view was spectacular - made up the effort dragging my suitcase uphill from the bus stop.

The house is nicely decorated, there were all the necessary - dishes, a kettle, a microwave oven, a fridge, towels and bed linen, TV and a heater, a soft carpet on the floor. We stayed for a longer time and I was pleasantly surprised that during this time the bed linen and towels were changed 2 times, as well as the cabin was cleaned and organized. Very good shower. Grocery stores are 10 minute walk away, the center is about 4 km away, along the way there are a beautiful views of the Molde panoramic mountains.

Breakfast is good. Electronic car charge station is nearby.
Molde is at the western coast of Norway. There is plenty of rainy weather, but when the sun shines, there is hardly a better place to visit. The stunning beauty of the mountains across the fiord is absolutely magnificent.
There are nice hotels, but the prices are quite high to be a city of the size of less than 30K citizens. Maybe the cost-level reflects the history of tourism when the royal families from different nations of Europe frequented this part of Norway.
You will find friendly staff at all places, but you could also pop into those who might take you as a visitor for granted. Maybe if you smile, you could get somebody smiling back to you.

A beautiful city in Norway.
A beautiful city in Norway. We drove around all the small towns and did the 'James Bond' spectacular Atlantic Road drive. It was worth driving from Bergen and taking magnificent pictures along the way.

A welcoming lovely private home and very kind hosts who can speak English.
Very quiet place and neighbourhood by the city centre. Cheap prices for Norway.
Everything was clean and well maintained.
Fantastic views over the fjord and mountains.
Lots of green gardens and nature around.
Supermarkets 5 minutes away.
And much more for those who have the time to explore the city and the region.
I definitely recommend this place.
The staff were nice and helpful , they arranged our rooms as per my request during check in .The view of the Fjord from the room was absolutely fantastic and the location of the hotel was excellent ,near the center . My only comment is for the breakfast ,they need to have more choices such as omelet and pancake ,etc.
The breakfast is good, the room is basically the past, but the shared kitchen is too small, the sanitary condition is extremely poor, and the handle of the kettle is sticky! There are no other cooking tools available, and it is 1.5 kilometers away from Molde, so it is not very convenient to travel!
The views from this hotel are stunning, the hotel itself is located within 5mins walk of the town.
The hotel is very modern and clean with a good variation of drinks in the bar.
The staff are also very friendly and all spoke English.
