Amazing location. Small cabin on the end of a barn, outside seating available. Old but well equipped and very clean. The jetty is a fabulous place to admire the view. Opposite side of the road to the farm so feels private. Lounge upstairs, good blinds in the bedroom (midnight sun!).

Yggdrasil Farmhotel Retreat, Spa & Yoga is located on Kvaløya island, 50-minutes drive from central Tromsø. Free WiFi access is available at the farm.

We stayed 14 nights in Northern Norway (Tromso and Lofoten), and this was by far the most beautiful accomodation. The restaurant and relaxation room are lovely, I enjoyed looking the huge windows and reading. We also used the yoga room (it also has huge windows). The food was so delicious, we would eat there anytime. We fully recommand this place, as it has a serene vibe.

3Art is a unique place that epitomizes tranquility and warmth. It is far from the city, with infrequent buses and no services nearby, so be prepared to bring everything you need for your stay. Once you’re here though you’re surrounded by beautiful nature, impeccable views of the fjord (in which you’re welcome to take a cold dip), and most of all a very warm atmosphere in the guest house with which you share with likeminded travelers, a lovely host and her adorable cat. It’s my fourth stay here and it won’t be the last.

Finnvikhaugen Rooms features free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Meistervik. The inn provides a sauna and a shared kitchen. At the inn, rooms come with a wardrobe.

From the moment we entered the building, we felt at home. All these little details, the cosy fireplace, the cleanliness and of course the lovely sweet treats make this place the perfect spot to experience the calm but stunning nature of Northern Norway. Listening to Johan's stories about the items makes it even more special. We extended our stay from 1 planned night to 3 and could hardly leave. Johan provides a lot of equipment (such as snowshoes, reflecting vests, headlamps, ...) and there is even a sauna at the sea! We also enjoyed connecting with other travellers, the open space of the accommodation invites to do so. The facilities are very modern and well-maintained, the beds are probably the most comfortable ones we have ever slept in and the price is absolutely fair! For us, this accommodation is a clear 10/10! Johan and Gunn Heidi, thank you so much for your warm hospitality and all the passion you put into "Finnvikhaugen Rooms"! Hope to see you again someday.

Everything. The location is supercool, just above the Fjord. The shuttle service from/to Tromsø super comfy and conveniently scheduled. The surrounding area and the activities (northern lights sightseeing, dog sledding etc) professionally arranged and designed. Facilities are also great (from sauna to restaurant). Staff is very professional and friendly. Rooms and cabins clean and accessorized.

Modern and spacious cabin with an amazing view. The cabin has all facilities you may need (second toilet, washing machine, big kitchen, etc.) and there's a hiking trail nearby. Information from owner after booking very clear. Make sure to grab some groceries along the way and enjoy.

Everything was perfect! The house : modern, high tech with great furnitures. Sparkling clean. You’ll have a balcony connected to the hall for aurora watching and stargazing. Complete kitchen. There’s equipments to play with snow during winter. VIEW WAS PERFECT. Owner was thoughtful. Gave us helpful advices to enjoy Tromso to the fullest and we were lucky enough on our last day he took us to catch aurora. We had cute black cat occassionally check up on us during our stay.
