Trysil is great for skiing.

Trysil is great for skiing. We stayed for 5 days and the skiing was really good. The facilities (lift, slopes, dining) were really great and we would love to come back again. Two negative things. Parking next to the lifts is expensive and limited. The swimming pool at Radisson Blue is super expensive compared to the facility.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us. We usually switch destinations every year for our annual ski holiday, but we’re definitely coming back to Trysil next time. Aside from the beautiful scenery, we loved the ski lifts and the conditions, which are perfect for all levels of skiing, especially for families. What a fantastic experience!

Trysil is a lovely little resort.

Trysil is a lovely little resort. It would be perfect for skiers who are learning or on their second trip maybe. It is a fairly quiet resort, which suited us fine. Great for ski in/out. We are in our mid 50s, and seasoned skiers, so a few days was plenty to cover everywhere. Plenty of places to eat, for young families too. Taste Bar/Restaurant/Cafe was our favourite. A small resort, so everywhere is close by. Great transportation if you need that too. The town is a 25 min walk away, with a nice little shopping centre if needed.

Over 80+ km of slopes offer a variety for all levels for both skiers and snowboarders at a very low altitude with excellent snow depth in December. The slopes are well-maintained and illuminated. The lift infra is aging and does not match the peak demand well. Main lifts like T1-T2 are congested and also malfunctioning. Food choices exist, but only one option at higher altitudes exists. There are few ski shops and only one rental shop, which has a wide variety of helpful stuff. Overall, there is a high level of safety and an additional flavor with night skiing options.

Excellent small skiing area.

Excellent small skiing area. Ideal for beginners/intermediates. Expert skiers will be bored, although there is one specific black run that is very challenging. Most red/black runs are wide open and when compared to Alpine resorts would be classed as no more than hard blues or easy reds. Plenty of mountain restaurants.

Authentic Norwegian home in a lovely location, only 10 minutes drive to the ski lifts and Trysil town. Plenty of parking space right in from of the home. The owner Bror communicated very well and went out of his way to make sure the guests had everything they needed. The kitchen is fully stacked with everything you can imagine so all you need to do is visit the supermarket in Trysil and cook at home. The room had a good heater so no problem with temperature and the bed was clean and comfortable.

A very cozy house for a week long stay in the winter landscape. It’s a 19 min drive from Trysil, which was very fine and no need to rush in the morning. The cabin is spacious, very well heated, and perfect room for at least 4 persons.

I like the cosy style of the hotel. Really close to skiing town Trysil, not so far from the boarder with Sweden, but far from loud night clubs. It's a perfect hotel who love skiing and prefer avoiding loud nights.
