Bror and Liv were fantastic hosts, we felt at home right away and the room was so comfy, prepared with intention and a lot of love. Great bed and facilities. First of all a very cozy experience with the little living room section with a TV and fridge - everything you need! 😊 Same with the bed/sleeping area, also very cozy and comfortable. And the facility building with toilets, showers, kitchen and sauna (which was the cherry on top for us!) was only a 30 sec walk away from the camper! We had a great time and we will definitely come back if we have the opportunity!

Trysil is great for skiing.

Trysil is great for skiing. We stayed for 5 days and the skiing was really good. The facilities (lift, slopes, dining) were really great and we would love to come back again. Two negative things. Parking next to the lifts is expensive and limited. The swimming pool at Radisson Blue is super expensive compared to the facility.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us. We usually switch destinations every year for our annual ski holiday, but we’re definitely coming back to Trysil next time. Aside from the beautiful scenery, we loved the ski lifts and the conditions, which are perfect for all levels of skiing, especially for families. What a fantastic experience!

Trysil is a lovely little resort.

Trysil is a lovely little resort. It would be perfect for skiers who are learning or on their second trip maybe. It is a fairly quiet resort, which suited us fine. Great for ski in/out. We are in our mid 50s, and seasoned skiers, so a few days was plenty to cover everywhere. Plenty of places to eat, for young families too. Taste Bar/Restaurant/Cafe was our favourite. A small resort, so everywhere is close by. Great transportation if you need that too. The town is a 25 min walk away, with a nice little shopping centre if needed.

Over 80+ km of slopes offer a variety for all levels for both skiers and snowboarders at a very low altitude with excellent snow depth in December. The slopes are well-maintained and illuminated. The lift infra is aging and does not match the peak demand well. Main lifts like T1-T2 are congested and also malfunctioning. Food choices exist, but only one option at higher altitudes exists. There are few ski shops and only one rental shop, which has a wide variety of helpful stuff. Overall, there is a high level of safety and an additional flavor with night skiing options.

Excellent small skiing area.

Excellent small skiing area. Ideal for beginners/intermediates. Expert skiers will be bored, although there is one specific black run that is very challenging. Most red/black runs are wide open and when compared to Alpine resorts would be classed as no more than hard blues or easy reds. Plenty of mountain restaurants.

Excellent location for ski in ski out and less than a few mins walk to everywhere - the shops and restaurants in town by the ski rental and bars on the slopes, as well as the Radisson Blu ‘resort’ and supermarket. The living and dining area of the apartment were spacious enough for 8 people and the kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms were huge and showers great! The whole apartment was nice and clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with and made our stay very comfortable!

Excellent stay. Ski in ski out location was perfect, apartment was a great size for our party of 5 with a beautiful view out onto the mountain. Dining table for 10 and seating sofas for 8 (often overlooked in many ski apartments). Ski locker facilities were excellent. We will definitely return.
