Very comfortable beds and very clean. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Very supportive stuff answered in no time all my questions about ski buss, location, ski storage room. I traveled with my family and we felt loved and comfy there. Also breakfast room has that Norwegian ski chique that I adored. Hotel was very silent.

First of all a very cozy experience with the little living room section with a TV and fridge - everything you need! 😊 Same with the bed/sleeping area, also very cozy and comfortable. And the facility building with toilets, showers, kitchen and sauna (which was the cherry on top for us!) was only a 30 sec walk away from the camper! We had a great time and we will definitely come back if we have the opportunity!

Trysil is great for skiing.

Trysil is great for skiing. We stayed for 5 days and the skiing was really good. The facilities (lift, slopes, dining) were really great and we would love to come back again. Two negative things. Parking next to the lifts is expensive and limited. The swimming pool at Radisson Blue is super expensive compared to the facility.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us. We usually switch destinations every year for our annual ski holiday, but we’re definitely coming back to Trysil next time. Aside from the beautiful scenery, we loved the ski lifts and the conditions, which are perfect for all levels of skiing, especially for families. What a fantastic experience!

Trysil is a lovely little resort.

Trysil is a lovely little resort. It would be perfect for skiers who are learning or on their second trip maybe. It is a fairly quiet resort, which suited us fine. Great for ski in/out. We are in our mid 50s, and seasoned skiers, so a few days was plenty to cover everywhere. Plenty of places to eat, for young families too. Taste Bar/Restaurant/Cafe was our favourite. A small resort, so everywhere is close by. Great transportation if you need that too. The town is a 25 min walk away, with a nice little shopping centre if needed.

Over 80+ km of slopes offer a variety for all levels for both skiers and snowboarders at a very low altitude with excellent snow depth in December. The slopes are well-maintained and illuminated. The lift infra is aging and does not match the peak demand well. Main lifts like T1-T2 are congested and also malfunctioning. Food choices exist, but only one option at higher altitudes exists. There are few ski shops and only one rental shop, which has a wide variety of helpful stuff. Overall, there is a high level of safety and an additional flavor with night skiing options.

Excellent small skiing area.

Excellent small skiing area. Ideal for beginners/intermediates. Expert skiers will be bored, although there is one specific black run that is very challenging. Most red/black runs are wide open and when compared to Alpine resorts would be classed as no more than hard blues or easy reds. Plenty of mountain restaurants.

A perfect home away from home for spending a week or two close to popular ski resorts. The place is just 20 minutes commute from Trysil and just a bit longer from Salen. Very easy to communicate with the host, obtain and return the keys. A spotless place with an abundance of kitchen cutlery and utensils. The fireplace was a great bonus, and a starter pack of wood was kindly provided by the host too. We will seriously consider it again for skiing in Trysil or Salen soon.

Fantastic location right by the lift, for half the price of most neighbouring hotels and apartments. Little apartment but with everything one might need and smart planning that make it feel much more spacious than it actually is (like bunk beds for the children rather than a sofa bed as in many other places). It also has a room for bicycles (and skies in winter) and parking right by the entrance (although a paid one).

Perfect for a large family. We loved the private sauna, the location right next to the ski lift, and the ability to go sledding with the kids in the evening. The apartment had a Bluetooth speaker, large TV with YouTube and screen sharing, and a well-equipped kitchen. We would love to return!
