Very comfortable beds and very clean. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Very supportive stuff answered in no time all my questions about ski buss, location, ski storage room. I traveled with my family and we felt loved and comfy there. Also breakfast room has that Norwegian ski chique that I adored. Hotel was very silent.

The location was fantastic, right outside of the ski bus stop with a good amount of dining options nearby and two supermarkets. We especially loved their own restaurant Parken - the food was amazing. The breakfast was great too. The beds were very comfortable and it was a nice touch that the bathroom had floor heating.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us.

Wow! Trysil truly impressed us. We usually switch destinations every year for our annual ski holiday, but we’re definitely coming back to Trysil next time. Aside from the beautiful scenery, we loved the ski lifts and the conditions, which are perfect for all levels of skiing, especially for families. What a fantastic experience!

Trysil is a lovely little resort.

Trysil is a lovely little resort. It would be perfect for skiers who are learning or on their second trip maybe. It is a fairly quiet resort, which suited us fine. Great for ski in/out. We are in our mid 50s, and seasoned skiers, so a few days was plenty to cover everywhere. Plenty of places to eat, for young families too. Taste Bar/Restaurant/Cafe was our favourite. A small resort, so everywhere is close by. Great transportation if you need that too. The town is a 25 min walk away, with a nice little shopping centre if needed.

Over 80+ km of slopes offer a variety for all levels for both skiers and snowboarders at a very low altitude with excellent snow depth in December. The slopes are well-maintained and illuminated. The lift infra is aging and does not match the peak demand well. Main lifts like T1-T2 are congested and also malfunctioning. Food choices exist, but only one option at higher altitudes exists. There are few ski shops and only one rental shop, which has a wide variety of helpful stuff. Overall, there is a high level of safety and an additional flavor with night skiing options.

Excellent small skiing area.

Excellent small skiing area. Ideal for beginners/intermediates. Expert skiers will be bored, although there is one specific black run that is very challenging. Most red/black runs are wide open and when compared to Alpine resorts would be classed as no more than hard blues or easy reds. Plenty of mountain restaurants.

Very nice accommodation with a family atmosphere. We appreciated the great breakfast and the comfortable and clean room. The hotel is located in a small village with a great location for trips to nature. Convenient location for skiing in the Trysil resort with the possibility to go skiing in the Swedish resort Sälen. We were very satisfied with the accommodation and we are very happy to recommend it.

The hostel is superb. I was staying with my 2 sons for a short ski trip. The facilities are excellent- great showers/ WC facilities- drying room- everything you need - good kitchen, dining and communal areas. Cleanliness is immaculate The hostel is set in an amazing area next to the river. You should have in your mind that it's a hostel and not a 5 star full service hotel

Apartment living area was spacious and kitchen was well equipped. Close to ski slopes (10 minutes walk up to lift) and could almost ski in after it snowed. Warm in the apartment despite low temperatures
