New ZealandVery friendly staff - thank you to the amazing lady at reception who checked us in. We booked a standard cabin & it was perfect for what we needed. Our cabin and common facilities like washroom, showers & toilets were always clean. Very relaxing area. The bed made it even more comfortable of a stay, we slept thru the night like newborn babies!! The sun heats up the room during the day & we didn’t need the heater at night. Will definitely be booking here again on our next visit. It’s also within walking distance to the shopping & town centre.

Levin is a friendly, clean town, with all facilites avaliable. Shopping is easy, on the main street and everyone is very friendly.
I highly recommend you stop in Levin for a coffee, meal or a visit.

Friendly, with lots of eating places, so varied food available. Lots of play areas for kids.
At Cobb & Co, I booked a group booking for 25 guests on Sunday afternoon and was very pleased with everything there. The food was good as well as the friendly staff.

Levin is a service town rather than a holiday destination...
Levin is a service town rather than a holiday destination but it provided a pleasant, close to home place for a minibreak for me.
Cobb and Co good for meals.
Beaches reasonably close. Need own transport.

Very respectful very clean nice and quiet I think I was the noisy one sorry to the owners 🙈 very close to everything so I highly recommend the Totara Lodge very much so I definately would go back there myself and stay longer in the same room if I'm able too 👍

Motels which are on the main State Highway one can be busy...
Motels which are on the main State Highway one can be busy and unless adequately sound proofed you should try and avoid them or use ear plugs for sleeping, also the speed limit determines the degree of road traffic noise and also the main rail line runs through the town and at least 3 freight train thunder through during the night which are as noisy as the trucks.

This is the second time I have stayed at Bassingers Motor Lodge, in Levin.
My two teenage children <17yrs and 14yrs>, were very happy with the accommodation. We were impressed with the daily cleaning and replenishing of the towels and anything else we requested during our stay.
The owners and staff are approachable and very kind.
My children and I were also able to wash and dry our clothes during our stay which was an absolute blessing.
The location was excellent for our stay. Shops, restaurants were all very close.

The owner, Jewel was amazing. As I had booked online and not directly through her she very kindly and unexpectedly refunded us $20 that the online site had charged us for our 1 year old son and she also gave our dog some doggy treats for her stay.
Jewel is definitely a wonderful person and the room, especially the beds made for a very comfortable stay. I would recomend this place to stay to anyone who is traveling through Levin.

This is a mid-size camping ground about 5 minutes drive to downtown Levin. Nicely away from the main highway, it is a quiet location with amazing views to the ranges to the east. I stayed in a cabin with my own toilet which was all very comfortable. The shared facilities were clean, well maintained, and overall in excellent condition.

This is *the best place to stay in Levin*. We've stayed around other places as we come to Levin regularly for family reasons. It's away from road, so it's quiet at night. The kitchenette is well stocked. The shower is powerful. The bed is comfortable. It has what a motel needs and does it all very well!

Spacious brand new motel. Bed was super comfortable. Massive big TV with Netflix to login with your own logon. Contactless easy check in. Wireless charges by the bed. Great value for money. Great location in Levin. All easy walking distance to shops/restaurants. Will definitely stay again!
