The hosts (Graeme and Deborah) go above and beyond with making your stay memorable. We had a freshly baked chocolate cake, fresh goodies from their garden, in addition to a well stocked supply of breakfast items. We woke up one morning listening to the magpies (birds) singing and the dairy cows next door right up against the fence within arms reach, ending the day watching and hearing the kākās (parrots) flying overhead - making us feel like it was a farm stay. An easy 30 minute drive to Hobbiton and 1hr to Waitomo Caves, plus an enjoyable short walk to riverside trails and suspension bridge make this an ideal location.

Location, views out over country side great, host Callum was really friendly helpful really cannot complain about anything for us a family of four I think the highlight would have to be how comfortable we felt just being able to be all around each other with the set out kitchen, deck, lounge and once again the views accross open dairy country to the Kaimais and back over towards Hobbiton area great.

Comfortable, homely welcome and opportunity to stay in a beautiful period property with lots of character. Tea/coffee in the room and a simple continental breakfast. The bar food was great, fair price and healthy portions. The thermal springs are well maintained and a great experience.

Fabulous spacious unit with brilliant facilities. The location is idyllic set in beautiful gardens. Good road links to Rotorua, Taupo etc only 20 min drive to Hobbiton. The breakfast provided with Julie was amazing. Communication with her was very fast and efficient. Recommended +++++

We absolutely loved our stay. The place was spacious, beautifully furnished and had everything we could wish for. Our host was incredibly friendly and gave us great suggestions for dinner and things to do nearby. The location on the hill is stunning, so peaceful and picturesque. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back.
