ChinaA nice immersive experience of NZ farmland life. The location was perfect – close to Arthur Pass. We did have to go to Sheffield or Darfield for dinner, but it wasn't a big hassle. The mountain view was worth it. Llamas were cute.

NetherlandsIn one building there were 4 rooms. There were two bathrooms with toilets and a thirth toilet. So you had nearly your own bathroom despite there is a sharing of bathroom and toilet with the guests of the other three rooms. Everything is clean and of high quality.

Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close...
Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close to great scenery for drives and many sporting activities including Mt Hutt Ski Fields plus others. Arthur's Pass is a fabulous drive, Rakaia Gorge is beautiful, the drive to Coleridge Power Station, at the back of Mt Hutt is very scenic. The town of Methven is not far away. And there is so much more to see. Springfield is a fabulous base for so much to do and see!

Louise was really welcoming as we were a touch earlier than anticipated. The views over the alpaca paddock to the mountains were amazing. The accommodation is simple but well insulated and has everything you'd need. The granola was delicious!! We went to dinner one night to Grape & Grain Restaurant which was a 30 min round trip and was also incredible food as no night time food options in Springfield currently. But great location close to mountains with yummy cafe nearby.

Great place in Springfield. Pet friendly so I could have my new puppy in the unit - crate trained. Motel unit had everything I needed for my stay, including a walk-in shower and small kitchen. Cosy

It's good locationt to go castle hill.
Moreover room is so clean and good well.
But I think the owner is the best kind person in the springfield. If i come back to NZ i would like to stay here~^^

Breakfast excellent. We are pleased that we made the decision to stay at Springfield, as the driving g through Arthur's Pass was steep and windy.
