Just 5 minutes' walk from the heart of Wanaka's town centre and access to the beachside of the beautiful Lake Wanaka, Alpine Motel offers self-contained accommodation with free off-street parking and... The shower was super strong like jet shower. Feels like massage shower. Excellent!

Close to ammenities Some open 24/7 Close to atm and restaurants on site at motel. Busy at day but quiet at night (in summertime) The puzzle place was the best. Kids had a blast. Pretty easy to get around.
Beautiful small town, postcard views everywhere you look, not too over commercialised, lots of friendly people and lots of places to go see while staying.... we went to Mt Cook for the day, it was wonderful. We also did a boat trip to Ruby Island which was lovely and gave my husband the idea to walk Roy's Peak the next day.... absolutely awesome views from the top.
Lovely scenery, some nice restaurants and bars to choose from. We had dinner at the Lake Bar Wanaka and the food was amazing! My kids can be tough critics but we would definitely be coming here again. Great service too.
Phenomenally beautiful town but just like our trip to Queenstown last year we felt unwanted as the domestic tourist. Prices were at the absolute top end so it wasn't surprising to see the more bohemian establishments full and the high end ones empty or quiet. We ended up staying at the Aspiring Motel and Sigi could not have been a more welcoming and warm person... a real highlight as it turned out.
Relatively quiet. Beautiful scenery and plenty of eateries. Great for families as there are a number of children oriented activities. The Maze complex is great. Coffee at Alchemy was right up there. Paddons Paddock winery is worth a visit for a wine and simple lunch. Best to go with a group. Everything in Wanaka is easily accessed and parking when we were there was fine.
Appreciated that there are a good variety of vegetarian food options, Go to the movies at Paradiso - you can eat a meal while you watch the movie and they have intermission! The lakeside is a lovely place to sit and soak up the view. Good variety of shopping and the people are very friendly. There is heaps to do in and around Wanaka.
This was our 5th trip to Wanaka and The Lakeside Apartments is The Best! The actual view was better than the photos showed on the website ( so the owner might want to take some new photos lol). The lake view was spectacular! It’s so well located in the town and close to everywhere. The facilities were excellent and high standard, and all the appliances were SPOTLESS! Very friendly staff. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. It’s not a cheap or budget hotel but it absolutely worthies every penny of it.
We have stayed here about 5 times now and been upgraded twice! :) The location is perfect for us. Easy walking to town centre, and close to Mt Iron, river bike/walking tracks, supermarket and maze. Kids love the playground and pool, and they have bike storage and excellent wifi. Our go-to accommodation when visiting Wanaka. Our daughter also loved how well the staff looked after her toys!
A small 2 bedroom house which is a little out of town, but an easy drive or walk into town. Newish property which is very well heated and set up for a relaxing adventure holiday. Great for 4 adults as 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms . Quiet street not far from Edgewater Hotel.
Great whether you want a standard hotel stay or an apartment stay, as the room was comfy and included a full kitchen. Immaculate facilities in a beautiful setting. Conveniently located just outside of the main drag of town. Matt at the desk was a cool dude as well!
The lodge was very comfortable with a great communal sitting room. They provided an excellent evening meal with a private chef and breakfast was first class. Loved the decor very relaxing and chic. Makes you wonder why you would ever stay in a hotel.
Spacious apartment and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable. Loved having a dishwasher in the apartment. The pool with the slide was a great hit with the kids. Very nice resort style hotel. Ample parking. Shower pressure was superb!
Had a restful, quiet stay in a flat that had everything we could have asked for. Beds were very comfy. Aneta was super helpful and communicative the whole time. Great alternative to hotels and big guesthouses.
Accommodations very spacious, clean and a perfect location for exploring Wanaka. Not right in the city centre but still close enough to walk or a quick 5 minute drive. Great BBQ, pool and spa to enjoy.
Absolutely fantastic apartment the most amazing views and very comfortable. We really enjoyed staying there and hope to be back. Very comfortable beds, close to town and great for a family holiday.
Very helpful hosts at Te Wanaka lodge. The place was walking distance to town and very clean. Love the electric blanket and underfloor heating and heat pump.
The hotel is just minutes walk from the lake. The room is small but given the money we paid, we are happy with it. Plenty of parkings.
Very comfortable hotel room with nice view of the lake. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was excellent.
Totally loved the position our room had outstanding views of the lake. Friendly reception hotel staff.
Nice motel style accommodation with good in room facilities. Great location in downtown Wanaka.
Pools are really lovely. Rooms have everything you need and staff are very helpful.
The view of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed
Location location walked everywhere. Fantastic view of the snow covered mountains. Washer & dryer very handy.
