We got a room with a beautiful view of Escalera Mountain Range. The sunsets were spectacular. The room, and the lodge in general is full of art pieces that give a unique touch to the property. Ah! they have an amazing library where you can spend time reading about history, art, ethnobotany, etc. All with an impressive view of the landscape. Breakfast was excellent with home-made bread and jam(!).

We loved our 7 nights stay in the Lagoon Village hotel. It is clear to see the vision, passion and effort that have been put and are still making, just beautiful. Breakfast on the floating restaurant with the jungle backdrop was special. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, making our stay very relaxing and wanted for nothing. We all enjoyed the SPA and horse riding. Getting to and from town via tuc tuc for tours to the blue lagoon, waterfalls and thermal baths was easy, fast and inexpensive.
