The property was beautifully located, deep in the forest with wildlife on the doorstep! Staff were so friendly and attentive! The shower water is cold but so refreshing (trust me you won’t want a warm shower in the humidity) and the lodge was comfortable and well equipped (mosquito nets, toiletries, drinking water) with places to relax (swing and seat on the lake, hammock at the lodge) Chef was fantastic, every meal time something different and even had some piranha we caught ourselves!

The owner was a delight in all of the senses and the room was big clean and very confortable also the zone it was ubicated was a few minutes form the port but the place was safe and quiet really relaxing I would for sure repeat, Mariolita was without a question the best

The staff are exceptional. My guide Joel came and picked me up from the airport and took me to the lodge in safety, which is approximately 2-3 hours travel. During my stay I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. The food was fresh and amazing every time with freshly made juices from local fruit in every meal. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms feature your own balcony with an incredible view. Regarding the facilities, the lodge is located on the river and is built with natural materials, so of course, expect to see insects. You are in the jungle after all! The mosquito nets do a really good job though, so I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Expect to hear wildlife noises from your room, although I quite enjoyed waking up with the sound of birds every day. The activities were super organised, and they offer a big variety for day and night experiences. All of them are wildlife experts, you get a personal guide, a personalised tour and a boat driver at all times. Don't forget to tip your guides! They will totally deserve it as well. They try their hardest to make your experience an amazing one! If you are crazy about wildlife, I recommend Joel. He could spot all sorts of animals from a distance, so I got to see a lot of different species. Both, with Wilson, the canoe driver, they had amazing coordination. I totally recommend the lodge and I would do it all over again. When you get there, you will see there are other lodges as well, which seemed to target tourists more, but not sure either. I am happy I chose this one and got to support their community!
